Wow, such a beautiful album, the melodies at the beginning of the last song, "Causa Latronum Normannorum", sound like Anatolian folk music melodies. Greetings from Tyrkland. 🧙‍♂

the guitar melodies on Dragons Never Die... absolute masterpiece. Týr are one of the few bands who really can create those unique riffs

The guitar melodies alone are the pinnacle of the beauty that metal can display. Orden Ogan and even Wintersun will certainly have to contend with Battle Ballads for the best folk/power metal album of the year!

Damn! What an absolute banger of an album!

This album really sounds like the album title indicates in the best way possible. The lyrics (that I can understand anyways) paint vivid pictures. The song structures lend equally well to the theme, epic and romantic. As a fan of all the band's work to this point this is a much welcomed addition to the discography! Can't wait to see them live this weekend!!

Well, in the western world, Tyr is pronouned like shedding a tear, tho they would pronounce it more like Toy-r, with a thick oy sound in the middle leading into the R.

Maybe it's me, but I feel this album so classic and generic. I love Tyr, but this album is for the masses and not for their fans: Each song is just 4/4 with double pedal striking again and again, common melodies, lack of guitar harmonies, only natural minor structure... I fell in love with Tyr due to their progressive parts, tempo changes and mix of folklore/myths with metal. Sorry guys, but I need to go back to Valkirya, Lay of Thrym and Ragnarok for get the old vibes again.

Fair enough, if that’s your thing. It’s not a progressive album, as such, but there are most definitely not only natural minor structures and 4/4 time on this album.

The two last songs of the album have more interesting sound and feeling, but in general point of view, it sounds so much common or generic than any other of your albums. You saved my life during pandemic period with your amazing live concert recorded at Thorshavn. It was my lifeboat each day and the fuel for continue. I will be your fan forever ❤️

Ridiculously short album. If you subtract 2 boring non-English songs it's just 30 minutes. After 5 years. What a shame!
