I haven´t listend to HammerFall for real, like when I did it every day for years, so when I see there are only 82k subs.... Makes me feel sad. My brother had this album, and I got hooked. Bought all the ones up to this one and the next one, the Chapter V Unbent Unbroken one. I even have a live album. Somewhere.... It´s good btw. I have seen them live once as well, but I was like 11 then. Listening to some of these songs brings back memories from a very much better time. Like, from being in the back of a car an listening to this after a hard day of... Shopping ( I have social phobia) so that was hard. Trailblazers... Angel of Mercy, The Unforgivng Blade... And then The Hero´s Return. Rise and conquer, let the infidels burn! Though I have to say, I really hate Hearts on fire haha, it was on TV here in Sweden so much and it is the worst song on the album anyway

My brother put on their Glory to the brave album 27 years ago and that led me into power metal, then i heard CoB some years later, well the rest is metal head history. But ever since i heard Hammerfall the first time, my favorite band.

Este fue el primer disco que escuche de hammerfall y grabado en cassette de forma casera por mi jajja. me partió la cabeza la primera vez que lo escuche y lo siguen haciendo. En aquellos tiempo era muy complicado tener acceso a internet!!!!

one of the best albums of power metal

Unlike Sabatton's few distinct track, this album has it all, each track is unique. Much love for Hammerfall. The Crimson Thunder is probably their best track, I'm in love with it.
