It wasn’t until I went through the hardest crushing that I truly knew Jesus. I had been missing so much even though I spent my life in church. He met me in my lowest place and lifted me up. Everything changed! I’m still be crushed but for the first time in my life I’m not scared. I know without a doubt I’m never alone and that God will use it all for good. What I’ve gained I would never trade to skip the pain, it’s far too precious. I see myself as who God created me to be and there’s so much more than meets the eye inside of me. I will never stop praising him! Nothing can tear me away from my Lord!

Thank you for this teaching. Honestly the crushing I have experienced in my life took my breath away literally, if it were not for God walking with me , I would be dead. Period. You cannot convince me either that God doesn’t love me. 💕

Let me tell you a song that helped me relate to crushing… It is Brandon Lakes’ song Gratitude. The second I heard him scream in the song in agony, I understood I was not alone and that the Lord is with him. That is the agony and the ecstasy of loving the Lord. The need for a savior sounds just like that…which produces the worship which produces the character needed to produce joy. The oil, the new wine. Comes from sorrow and pain. He was a man of sorrows and that gets me through those moments.

I’ll agree with your teaching about people who make an identity out of you. Thank you that there’s hope to get out of the box. You know, I thought it would take being that wife on a man’s lap and at his side, bowing to what he thought made me beautiful. I no longer think this. It's been Soo long and Soo hard,when I think there is some relief the crushing continues. So broken not sure there is anything left..... somehow his mercies are new every morning and new ever evening.

Wow. He said Don’t stay in for the benefit of people who have built their lives around your pain. There are people who make a job of you being afflicted.

The more mature you get the more you can learn from your crushing.

Amen! Thank you for this! This world has grown so dark. I have been put down and mocked over my situation. Thank you Jesus for never leaving my side, because everyone else has! Jesus! I PRAISE you! Even as I’m struggling providing for my children. I feel like a failure but I will keep faith because faith is all I have left! Since covid I can’t seem to get back on my feet. I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I declined due to my health conditions. I suffer from lupus, and heart disease. I’m now waitressing and so thankful to be working but I’m not making nearly enough to get by. I have two beautiful boys both are autistic. I’m overwhelmed because they require so much from me. I started homeschooling them because they were having so many issues with bullying. I feel so alone. Every month is a struggle to not end up on the streets with my boys. I’m struggling buying groceries I’m so discouraged. Jesus hear my cries I’m so tired. But I have faith! I WILL NOT FEAR! I know God will continue to provide for me and my children. So I praise you Jesus! And thank you in advance! ❤

Brother Max... I would love to be able to HIGHLIGHT a lot of sentences from Brother Jakes and you!!! My season of CRUSHING is becoming AMAZING and it isn't to say that my body is completely healed at this time... It is to say that I will praise HIM in affliction and obey HIM!!! This is something that I have STRUGGLED with for YEARS because I wanted the HEALING MORE than the HEALER!!!! 💔 But Grace and Mercy that are NEW each morning!!! Amen!! One day y'all will know more about me and my walk with Jesus!! I'm so excited, Amen!

Been so low these couple of days/months .... My husband is a Recovery drug addict his sober for over a 1yr, he was diagnosed with earlier this year with Neuropathy... treatment will be on going for two years.. My work environment is getting to point where there is no rest but pressure for results. Rest has become a luxury..... i cant afford One salary is stretching me beyond..... My body is in constant pain..... My Dad has dementia and can't walk.... this Process of my life feels like that bitter cup.. i don't know if im swimming or drowning....
