I would agree if he wasn’t a Christian pastor. What he is saying does not line up with the scripture. For example, what he says about „Disruptive Alliances“ at about 22:42… then go read 2 COR 6:14… there are so many hypocritical statements with the scripture it’s crazy. If he was just a regular guy he would be ok.

"We can't exist in a fruitless life, or a fruitless job, or a fruitless marriage, because fruit is the ultimate indication that the cultivating has been successful (pg. 171)." Bravo to Bishop Jakes spreading the Word!!! I've been watching Bishop for decades now...My life forever changed when at 16 yrs old, this white girl somehow found herself in a black church located in the so called "wrong side of town" in Casper Wyoming. It was a time when there was revival & a mighty move of the holy spirit throughout the world. I was, unbeknownst to me, in a church that spoke in tongues & I was there in the middle of all I had never known -- except we all loved God. I was overcome by the Spirit. I began praying in a new supernatural way. I was with 3 of the most popular girls in our school but all that didn't exist. All I knew was I was never going to be the same & it was powerful. We are the same. We must stop the celebration of what we don't understand about one another. You are beautiful-- we all are...I have a dream to some day attend your church my great Bishop & be in your presence & praise , worship like nobody's watching except our Savior Jesus Christ with all of you...❤

I love the bishops messages.I used to not really BUY books. I love them and I usually get them from the library but I noticed it feels so nice to snuggle up with a good book and for that I need it to me MINE! I decided my next book would be my own. DISruptive Thinking is MINE. I believe in DISRUPTIVE THINKING fully so I ordered this book and study GUIDE yesterday from the Potters House! It was cheaper than Amazon with welcome code and it’s autographed. I’m very excited to get them!!!

Praise the Lord everybody. Always a pleasure to see and listen to TDJakes. Growing up in Baltimore the pastor would say “I was glad when they said unto me let us go to the house of the Lord”. Like Jus Hilarious being in church for me feels better. But I am wise enough to know radio and tv ministries were started decades ago for those both unable or unwilling to attend. I remember the cassette tape being the media ministry. Growing up in Maryland taught me many lessons. The most influential was our past is our Schoolmaster. Maryland is the home and birthplace of Harriet Tubman, Frederick Douglass, Benjamin Banneker, Frances Harper, Grace Brooks, Lillie Mae Carroll Thurgood Marshall, Matthew Henson, Josiah Henson etc. some of the most influential blacks in America, but those who also endured some of the most horrendous and horrible treatment, but they overcame it, trusting God. Maryland blacks do not concentrate on the trouble but the solution. If they concentrated on slavery, they would have never made it to freedom. We must change our thinking and start missionary work in the black community. Forget about the adversary leave them to God. Missionary work is how the Historical Black Colleges started. The most powerful book we can read as descendants of American slaves is The Miseducation of the Negro. It teaches us as the Bible states. Change the way we think. It is more about starting businesses. Changing how we think is found in the book of Romans. Black ppl are not a race but rather a community which needs ongoing service in education, labor, and housing. If black ppl do not have a decent education, it affects the ability to get a decent job and further decent housing. We need missionary work in the American black community, if we want to save the future of descendants of American slaves and other impoverished ppl. Our ppl need attorneys and more judges. We lack law makers in our community. Good Laws changes situations and protects vulnerable people. Thurgood Marshall and Juanita Jackson life taught me this lesson.

TD Jakes just consigned Eboni's point. She was not trying to make people feel bad. They felt bad because it was a trigger and that's ok. Maybe it will lead to disruptive thinking. Eboni stated FACTS just like TD came with facts as well. These are hard truths and we have to discuss these things to make changes.
