This is originally an ICM kit, there always problems with gaps 🙂. I try build the new zvezda T34 kits soon. Good video anyway.

Its look like made by Czech t34 around 1954. Its not ww2 tank probably only postwar.

Which parts of the tank did you take a look at for identification? I tried to look for info about those parts left and right next to the gun mantlet. Apparently these were from the model 1944 or 1945. But its not that easy to find a good source

@@dreamzzscalemodelling look for machinegun mantlet on front plate. Post war tank, polish made 1950-1955 and Czech have around mantlet a ring for securing machinegun when tank crossing deeper river. They use waterproof material and mount on this ring. The same rings are on double fan on tower for the same reasons. War time t34 85 dont have those rings. Im not sure You have or not because scale is small.

Thanks for the clarification. Its interesting that these post-war parts are included in a kit that to my knowledge is only sold as a ww2 tank from both revell and icm in the past

@@dreamzzscalemodelling Great job.Thankyou for sharing. I especially liked the putty for the casting. In response to other comments, I don't see a post war T-34 here. I don't see the ring on the hull machine gun mantlet on this kit.This is very pronounced when it is present. Post war t-34's built, czech ones especially, had a much smoother finish, which isn't on this kit's turret even before you added texture. The commanders cupola has split hatches which is a 1944 build. 1945 hatches have one larger hatch. Those parts to the left and right of the mantlet are how certain factories built the turret. Other factories did it differently, so this wouldn't make it wrong.I think it's been correctly marketed as a wartime built T-34/85. I think your t-34 is crying out for some mesh to replace the molded on part over the cooling vents at the back! This would make it even better. If you were also inclined, the molded on 'upside down u' handles on the hull could be replaced before you started painting! However it looks great as it is and I'm looking forward to the next video to see how it turns out .

I would either try super glue with an accelerator or gluing one side first, letting it dry completly, and then the other side and holding everything in place with clamps if you have

Yes the kit is from ICM and only reselled under the Revell name

Die Struktur am Turm ist gut.Aber bei den Bildern von Nahem finde ich, sieht die Genauigkeit/Paßform vom Bausatz nicht gerade toll aus.Da gibt es bedeutend bessere Bausätze dieses Panzertyps (RFM, Miniart, Dragon...).Zudem finde ich die T-34/85 Version mit den vorderen eckigen Kettenabdeckblechen optisch "schöner" als hier mit den runden.Du hast selbst zugesehen,dass Du mehr aus dem Bausatz rausholst,aber da gibt es von Haus aus schon bessere Bausätze vom T-34/85.Das alles ist keine Kritik an Dich und Deine Arbeit,sondern ist auf den Bausatz selbst bezogen.Revell mag in anderen Bereichen gut sein,aber Panzer und Fahrzeuge vom 2.Wk ist meiner Meinung nach nicht gelungen.Da kenne ich nur 1 verwertbaren Bausatz,das war der Königstiger Baustufe 5 als Platinum oder Premium Edition (gute Ketten,Alurohr und viele Ätzteile).Abgesehen davon bin ich aber allgemein kein Fan von Revell.Mfg

Kann dir zustimmen. Habe von dem Bausatz auch nicht viel erwartet da er glaube ich auch nur 20 oder 25 Euro gekostet hat. Revell ist auch definitv an Einsteiger gerichtet was die Details und die Genauigkeit angeht und grade die älteren Sets sind teilweise einfach nur schlecht. Wobei in diesem Fall nicht Revell sondern ICM dran "schuld" ist, da der Bausatz von denen übernommen wurde und nur im Revell Karton verkauft wird. Beste grüße zurück!
