Nate and Abby helped me get into the hobby 2 years ago at the age of 45. I focus more on helicopters now, but I still fly planes. I enjoy watching you two have so much fun together. I feel like I would really enjoy spending a day at the field with you.

G'day from Australia, Saylors. I searched on the web to find out more about the paint scheme and found the plane it was copied from. Still couldn't find the reason for those colours but I did find that the plane is actually in Australia, which made me quite happy. Also, Nate, I know you love P51's so I thought I'd mention that last week, while helping a friend bleed the brakes in my Dad's 1982 Ford XE Falcon, we had my friends boss fly low overhead in his recently bought P51! What a beautiful sight!

I don't know much about planes and boats. But this channel taught me a few things. One of them, is having fun. Let's have it. One of the funniest channels to be around. Love for Nate and Abby.

I got this plane for $160 on a special Memorial Day sale or something. It flew well on a 3S 2200. I wanted longer flights, so I tried 3S 2600's and 3000's, but the canopy would pop off all the time. In my haste to get it down, I landed a bit rough on grass and the front gear stopped rotating. Had to replace the whole gear. I love flying it off of asphalt, but grass can be challenging as the prop chews up grass. If the canopy had a latch, I'd have no problem with this!

Think if you fly it vertical until it loses airspeed, hang it on the prop for a tad, then kick in rudder and you have a 'stall turn'. Nice flying Nate, and excellent camera tracking Abby. All the best from Hampshire UK

T-28 Always flies like its on rails. It's a sweet flying plane.

That T-28 model is either a T-28B or C with the R1820 engine and a 3 bladed prop and 1800 horse power. The Navy had only the B and C models, like this aircraft but the Air Force had only the T-28A model with 900 HP and a 2 bladed prop. I flew the T-28B and C with the bigger engines. The T-28C model with a tail hook we did deck launchs from carriers without a cat shot needed.

Regarding the livery, which I love; "The T-28 version we are offering is based on a plane that was restored to airworthy in 1991-1994. It has the distinctive "Just Dreamin'" nose art as shown below."

Maybe the Trojan you're looking for is the Blitz RC Works from Banana Hobbies in the Jolly Roger paint scheme. Is has everything the Arrow's has, but includes a air brake on a seventh channel. For less $.

My first RC plane was a t28 I was doing a roll and the canopy fell off my battery was hanging I flew it upside down to the ground. A couple grass marks but she was good. I was stunned after my battery was hanging out dangling and I got it down was really impressed.

I have the Arrows T28, P51, Corsair and the Tecnam with floats. All fly very well. Love, love, love Arrows planes. My next one will be the SZD 54. BTW Nate, my favorite plane right now is the HH Concendo I bought base on your review.

Whi sells this plane with this color ...really nice

nice flight...it is a real T28 livery...*call letters VH-ZUC* T28D ...also has the 'nose art'...

A quick google image search showed this color scheme, though most if not all that I clicked on are/were in North America. Doubt the USAF actually used it, but still looks cool!

Hello Nate & Abbey. I have a question in reference to the Arrows T-28. I’ve had this plane for a year. Recently crashed it and did damage to the compartment of the nose retract. I ordered a new replacement for the whole compartment and doors. Luckily I can use the retract itself as it was not damaged. After removing the retract from the compartment. What it the best way to get the whole plastic compartment out of the nose of the plane? Will using a CA debonder down the sides, between it an the foam release it? Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and God bless.

Just bought this plane and got a small discount code ($10) from your channel for "Arrows Week". Not much but paid for the spare prop at least and a few bucks toward shipping. Was a toss up between this and the EFlite 1.2 but didn't see the reason to spend another $120 even though it does have Smart and gyro , whereas the Arrows does not and they do not apparently offer a Vector system for it?

Which receiver did you use? Looks like a great plane. Sorry I bought mine from HH, no retracts or flaps.

Another great day to fly. I don't know military colors, either is or ain't, I still like the colors🌈, especially like the prop color tips when you spun up. As for better flying than the other plane, ya got me. I 👀 see plane go up, pilot does fancy flying, plane lands. I👁 don't C any difference. Guess you gotta be on the sticks to tell the difference. Good deal on expo I usually use 40 percent but I'm a spaz.

Are there any trainer planes with safe plus anymore? I see they used to have on around 2015 16 planes but none current. I like the fence part of it. Just got a older version of Pitts s2b from a auction. A good hanger till I learn to fly someday.

Loved the video! Did you guys have any issues with CG? The manual wasn’t great and a lot of things I’ve read about this says it’s tricky to get the CG correct. I’m semi nervous to do my maiden.

Oh gosh no CG issues at all. I just threw my batt in and flew it, worry free! This plane was 3X easier to maiden than the Arrows P-51 IMO. You’ve got this!! 👍😎⚓️

Love the t-28. How about off grass? It looks like you guys have a good strip of grass in the back right corner I would like to see a few planes off of that area if possible to make a better decision on a plane. Unfortunately my field is all grass. Love the paint scheme on this one a lot. Great video

I have the same plane and only fly it off grass. And I’ve flown it with a 3S 3200 battery. It was a little tail heavy with that. I might try it with a 4S 2200. I have bent the nose gear but it’s most likely my fault for landing flat. But it was easy to replace. It does fine on medium to short grass.

expo control the how fast the servo movement. higher the expo the slower the servo movement, i set my aileron, rudder and elevator at 30 adjust it from there after maiden

Start a KZread channel. Work hard. Abby and I both worked 80-90 hours a week during the first five years of our channel to help build what we have now. And slowly cut back as we slowly got ahead. Just hard work. Seriously. A lot of hours, blood, sweat and definitely some tears. Sacrifice in some areas of life.

Ya know,,,,,I been thinking,,,,,hmmmmm.....maybe you ought to send me a couple of thoughs planes to give a review from a point of view from an average fly guy and not a pro like you two,,,,plus heck,,,,,why not make some room for giant models. I seen ya fly one,,,,just saying. Great job guys.

I fly it on 4S every time. Plane likes nose weight, 3200 forward.

If the pin up girls are too revealing, would not some strategically placed Saylors anchor stickers aid in making the female representations more modest?
