And ofcourse to all of you that come here, have fun with us, leave comment subscribe and give thumb up.
This striking version of the Durafly T-28 Trojan comes in a unique color scheme for the Naval Aviation Centennial (1911-2011) (US Navy). The Durafly T-28 is an impressive RC plane to fly and even has the ability to be upgraded for the extreme challenge of FPV flying.
The T-28 is an extremely popular warbird and RC flying model and this version has a great list of features, like pre-installed navigation lights, servo-less electric retracts with gear doors, pre-installed servos which include flaps and a fully functional dive brake. There is a huge internal bay to house all your electronics plus your 4S battery. Under the scale cowl, we have added an AeroStar 3536-750kv brushless out-runner motor coupled with an AeroStar 45A ESC to drive a scale 3-bladed propeller. This will provide you with all the power you need for loops and rolls and awesome performance. The servo-less electronic tricycle undercarriage makes ground handling, take offs and landings a breeze.
If you want to get into the excitement of FPV flying then the Trojans cockpit is specifically designed for FPV flight. Just add your own Pan and tilt camera with a head tracker, VTX and antennas. FPV is a great way to get that full flying experience being fully immersed in the T-28's cockpit.
The Durafly T-28 Trojan is designed to screw together in just 6 easy steps, getting you in the air faster and glue free. All electrics are pre-installed and all you need to add is your choice of transmitter and receiver, battery and of course your choice of FPV equipment.
If you are looking for rock solid performance in a warbird combined with an extremely stable flying platform then the Durafly T-28 is the plane for you.
Features:
• Ultimate scale details from the leader in the 1100mm class warbirds
• Fully functional retracts with gear doors
• Fully functional dive brake
• Day bright LED navigation lights
• Ultra smooth and super tough EPO foam
• Naval Aviation Centennial color scheme
• Designed to run on a 4S power set up and performance to match

Not a big T28 fan...but I have to say.. that one is very very nice....nice job brothers.
Great job Brothers . Oooh that take off Robert . Nice filming Capt Blaz . I would set a delay to the flaps , 5-6 seconds , and limit travel to 40-50% and go up from there, or have 2 different settings . One at 40% and another at 100 % , Maybe elevator mixing will help too Idk . Glad you had a good flight with the Lancaster , can't wait to see it . Sorry to see your new runway still has mole problems . SALUTE !!!!!
Big Salute from Mid Mich. I feel very honored every time you wear the “Skull n Bones”. Great choice for the flight today. Always uplifting to see the Brothers P.
You can copy models from DX9 and import into NX10 via SD Card (or Micro SD Card). It keeps all of your previous settings including trim. All you have to do is re-bind plane and you're up flying quickly! You must have latest firewarm updates on both radios for this to work properly but that's easy enough. Enjoyed the video as always!

Afternoon guy’s it’s lovely looking plane I’ve got the yellow version still needing to put together, Robert I picked up a lovely discontinued park zone Stinson I watched just winging it on KZread ages ago and fell in love with the gull wing on it such good condition to it’s coming from France in couple weeks I’ve got into getting some old discontinued planes also picked up hobby king micro b25 j lady lil which judging by Stuart on vid it’s over ten years ago he looks so young lol keep up the great work you do for our half hour of giggles at you both , big salute 🫡 Gaza 🇬🇧
Great save with the takeoff!!! I'd reduce the takeoff flap so it doesn't balloon. Mixing down elevator will hamper takeoffs. When my airbrake buzzed I altered the end point adjustment on the servo so it closes without buzzing. I salute you!
WE ALL LOVER YOU GUYS. YOU ARE SO MUCH FUN TO WATCH...........
Love the look of this one - Mine is still in the Box - I purchased it a few years back when Hobby King were here in the Europe - right now I am flying the Arrows T-28 - and the FMS 800mm one - I will build this one in a year or so - LOL - Spectacular take-off - might have been a tip stall as you were not fast enough - Dis is it - Big salute from Cambridgeshire UK.

I have a T28 from Parkzone. One of my top 3 favorite planes to fly together with the F27q Stryker also from Parkzone. Other one is my old (very old 30 year old Sig Riser). Managed to keep the T28 in the air for almost 30 minutes on a 3 cel 2200 battery by zooming up high and then gliding as long as I could then repeating etc. Fantastic flier that is quite capable. Crazy weird mix both as good trainer with very capable aerobatics capabilities.

I can relate on that takeoff. Yesterday I flew my UMX Radian for a simple flight and got some altitude to do loops when all of a sudden it is inverted and spinning crazy, couldn't recover and it ended in a shrub. Problem: doing aerobatics tossed my battery. Kind of hard to control without a battery. Plane OK but couldn't find the battery, probably at bottom of my pond.

Hey Jeff. Big salute back from Slovenia.
Slow the flaps down. They extend and retract too fast. If you slow them down to a more scale speed then the balloon is easier to manage with a little flap to elevator mixing. 👍
Servus Kapitan brothers!! With close to perfect CG this is proud and strong flyer!! (Note this: Orange Rx receivers are high risk for good connection with TX...not recommended, not reliable) Use Spektrum. Also used plywood small piece for more security for battery.😎
Nice job! A bit bumpy on the take off and landing, but we'll blame to ground covering for that...😂🤣😂
That was a very wabbly takeoff !
Mini heart-attack there during take off Capt. Robert, never a boring moment with you two! I could be wrong but to me that looked like adverse Torque Roll when you floored the throttle. But darn, your quick reflexes are remarkable!
THIS PLANE IS BETTER VALUE THAN THE HH YELLOW ONE👍🏼

More beautiful for me.
That's a good flying bird. I have the banana hobby version. It could use some more power but it cruises soo good. Really well balanced aircraft. Best part is its packed full of features for the price. And boy will it take a beating!! Definitely a solid flyer, not as polished as an eflite plane but you get way more than anything eflite has for the price. Only complaint I have is getting the white navy scheme. It's not easy to see sometimes. Crashed it once cuz it was a tad too dark and lost orientation
That takeoff was scary. I had same thing happen with my Timber-X, and it was because of the takeoff speed and the flaps with no elevator trim. good save. This is the best looking T-28 of all of them. Also the best flying version in this class. I've had this version for a few years now. I like it so much, I have 2 of them.

Thank you again for a great video. Your responsiveness at takeoff is excellent I must say! Sharp footage great colors. I prefer a 2m size just like the Carbon-Z T28, beter for grass operations.

Bonito. Parabéns. Brasil.
Great looking plane. I still have a Dynam T28 ( its a few years old now!) a great flying plane. I do believe you had a problem on take off due to the short nose landing gear. The nose gear being too short would give the plane a negative wing incidence. The negative incidence caused the plane to leap into the air once take off speed was reached. I have had a couple of planes with this problem. Keep the faith brothers

Love the color scheme, a little heavy on the elevator maybe a tad tail heavy. 😁🇺🇸👍🏼
Thanks for confirming my experience with this plane. You are usign a bigger battey than recommended, have it fully forward and CG is still wrong. This plane is a tail heavy pig without extra weight added. There are no spares available either, so your dodgy take off was very close to writing it off even with slight damage.

Thanks my friend.
Robert in a real airplane you have what is called trim so use down trim on the elevator when applying flaps this is a tab on the back of the elevator that if moved down will create lift to the back of the elevator this lift moves the elevator upward or down to desired trim setting. Use down trim on your Transmitter when you apply flapsand, aircraft climbso, flaps are supposed to create lift more lift you create the more drag takes place . Its a balance between throttle and, trim elevator trim when flaps are used . .Ballooning is what happens on landing if you apply to much up elevator before stall speed to touch down plane balloons because of to much airspeed and angle of attack on landing was to high flying along ground effect plane then starts to climb again. That is what ballooning means.
Hi guys! Do you think that the landing gear for that T-28 Trojan from HK can be upgraded to landing gear that has Oleo suspension? Does it look like it can be done? Hvala, fantje!!
You need some carpet for a taxiway from the tables
Your landing path is not suitable for take off because it is wobbly and soft. It will keep changing the angle of attack of the prop plane and throttling up will push it to the ground when the wheels hit a certain bump. This explains the weird take off. Throttle up, angle of attack happens to point downwards due to the wheels hitting bump, you try to take off and already lost speed because of the downward angle and prop striking the landing strip. Almost stall during take off due to lost of speed.

Don't take the wings off it, and store it! You should fly this everyday and shoot for more scale take offs, especially with that beautiful new carpet! Just slow the plane down before deploying flaps & she won't balloon at all! I love that plane! Only the CZ T-28 is better! The T-28 will make you a better pilot!

Yes, don't drop the flaps until you slow down to landing speed!!!
Again, you with the flaps. There is a reason why full size aircraft have different flap setting, you need to do some reading about aerodynamics. In you case specifically with this plane, take-off flaps should be around 15-20°, landing flaps 30-35°. It looks like you have about 45-50° of full flaps, that's not just flaps that's speed brakes. If you don't have the tools to properly measure flap angle you should buy a small digital pitch gauge used for helicopters, not 100% accurate in this application, but pretty close. Put the gauge on the top of the flap with the flaps up and zero the gauge, then put the flaps down with the gauge still on the top of the flap and you will know how many degrees of movement the flaps just went.
