Most 2 strokes come with a governor does this one have a governor? If so how would you lessen the governor or even take it off entirely.

I had the older model when I was a kid the engine hasn't changed but the Body and Frame have a lot makes me very jealous but mine off of eBay and it brought back a lot of childhood memories however with the new improvements and the new safety features that are added to them feel more uncomfortable of giving this to a kid if I have one in the future LOL

We got one for our son for Christmas and the one problem we got was that the chain pops off on it specially if someone is over 160 but my son is only 60lbs and kept coming off..... any suggestions

Loosen The Spaces And Pull Back The Wheel And Make Sure There's Plenty On Tension On The Chain Before Tightening The Spaces Again.

Hey man I thought I would just ask beacuse I’ve been looking for a fix so I have the same little DirtBike and it won’t start with the pull start and it’s hard to pull and it jerks back on me and bogs out and I can’t seem to find a fix is there any suggestions you could give me ..... also I can’t seem to find out how to take the carburetor off

@@philipwilliamshomeinspecti4665 - If you mix 2 of those 50:1 bottles of oil to 1 gallon of gas, did you not just make the fuel 100:1? Wouldn't you either need to mix only 1/2 of that bottle of 50:1 with 1 gallon of gas or the whole bottle of 50:1 to 2 gallons to make it 25:1? Thanks for the video, was in the middle of putting this together for my little man and had to come to youtube to see what was up with that metal sleeve for the front wheel.

1 gallon of gasoline + 2.56 ounces of oil = 50:1 ratio 1 gallon of gasoline + 5.12 ounces of oil = 25:1 ratio It's a little too blurry for me to read how many ounces is in those little bottles, but that's the ratio mixtures above. So, it looks like he's right on the amount.

Nice informative video unlike some of the others. I heard you don't put any oil in this engine is that true? Never heard of such a thing before :O Maybe that is why it needs to run rich, no oil in the crankcase? Or is that not so?

it's a 2 stroke engine and it uses a gas and oil mix. 25 parts gas 1 part oil
