Synplant 2 has arrived with alien synth sounds 🤯
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Synplant 2 has arrived with alien synth sounds and cinematic sounds you would not have known existed! This is THE most unique synth vst of 2023 IMHO. I'm gonna dig deeper into this one!
In the video I give you a quick rundown of the major features of Synplant 2. Enjoy!

That was a great brief overview. I'm sold. I highly recommend downloading the demo; it's great fun. Sometimes, I wish that I still got high because I'd spend hours lost in experimentation. I've seen some vids from reviewers who seem to have completely missed the point of Synplant 2.

@@MattiasHolmgren By the way, I subscribed on the strength of this overview of Synplant 2. It's the most compelling one that I've watched so far. I've watched quite a few. I'm intrigued by your use of the Wacom because - until now - I had never considered it as an option in music creation. You've certainly got something there that separates you from the rest of the similar creators. You should take advantage of that fact.

@thevalueofn6994 yeah, Wacom has reached out to me in the past but at the time I had so much other stuff going on. I’ve done a few videos on it, but will make a new one now when there is so much interest. 😄👌☕️🥁

Having spent the summer preparing my garden so I can grow veggies next year I might just plant a few of synplants seeds and make some noise.😁It's a great concept so anyone can make evolving sounds without the backbreaking work!

hehe exactly, curate what you like instead of breaking your back and spending 1000 hours. But that's also fun. haha I love both processes. Sometimes we just need a fresh piece of sound to spark ideas.
Wow, Synplant has really evolved over the first generation (which was pretty cool in its own right). All of these sounds you've generated are fantastic. Looks like I'm going to have to purchase this synth in the near future.

Sci-fi and so much more. This thing can replace A LOT of sample libraries and A LOT of modeling synths. Why? Because the current generation of those don't have sample and evolve technology. Reason's Objekt comes closest, but it doesn't have as extensive evolve functionality. Even so, Objekt is another great one to have in your arsenal.
Model and evolve any sound. Synplant 2 explores sonic landscapes like no other synth before. It will certainly be a challenge but also great inspiration for other synth developers to catch up. A HUGE amount of work went into this. If you haven't already, check out an interview of the developer here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/pIJrpJqFhbyZh7g.html

Patience. I'm surprised Synplant 2 wasn't offered at a discount at launch, but a good indication to me that it will be discounted relatively soon is that Plugin Boutique hasn't offered it yet. I suspect they don't want to sell at the full price now and rattle those customers who buy at full price, when it goes on discount fairly shortly after.
Would love to see this on iOS
It's crazy cool.. Hope tho it will be some crazy cool discount on BF.. 😁Or anytime in foreseeable future.. 😆

Yes but can we manually create the sound the Synth Plant created by use our own knowledge of using effects. I mean maybe this plug-in might have some same process that use to create a new sound.
@MattiasHolmgren
9 ай бұрын
Yes, absolutely. But AI often takes roads you might not even have thought of. It tries anything to replicate the sound you throw at it. When a person designs a sound he/she/it might try for a few hours (10-20 tries), an AI machine can try 50000000 times during the same time. But it's all up to you if you want to use AI to come up with sounds or learn how to do it yourself...Or like me, use both roads. Because it can save time in some cases. Though I've worked with sound design professionally for 20 years, but it's fun to see what AI comes up with and some sounds are super useful and fun....and most importantly...INSPIRING! ;)
Got the trial... looks like I'll be buying this... it's hard to be a synthoholic :)

You need to activate latch mode or automation write. Select the track and press CTRL+CMD+A, this will activate automation LATCH mode for the track. And then when you play / record and move a knob, fader it will record that automation to the track lane.

With the endless layers of instrument and plugin and daw choices, I can't see how. Even if someone this, it's highly unlikely anyone would come up with the same end result sound after all the mixing and how it will be implemented.
@MattiasHolmgren

@ryanpongracz8051 yeah it was a really silly statement. Its uber hard to hear the source of a sound these days with the endless tools and processing people use. That said, spotting Omnisphere patches in movie scores is fun. But its the nr 1 instrument for film scoring IMO and used by quite a few composers through the years. Nothing wrong with that though. Just pure joy! 💪👌😄🥁💎
