Almost 48 years to the day- burned into my football memory bank- what a night!!! WWFC.

Highlights of "a football match". LOL This was a game where Leeds needed just a draw to win the double... having just won the FA Cup two days earlier. But the league insisted that Leeds play on the Monday night or else they had to play without their England players. That would have meant a reserve side basically.... which you get done for today. But the league were corrupt, they just didn't want Leeds to do the double. An entire season on the rocks because the league sacrificed the integrity of their own competition. Would never, ever happen today.

It was a disgrace to make leeds play just two days after the cup final. They deserved to win the double. And I'm a pool supporter.
