Thanks, that is what I badly missed. Just a suggestion as next step to make VSL an extremely powerful tool for composers - implement an artificial intelligence based software which makes a realistic performance of a given melody (MIDI file with dynamics, tempo changes, articulations, playing techniques etc. assigned). Noteperformer is quite a capable program but has not a fraction of samples accessible. So a combination of a program like Noteperformer with VSL would be the perfect product to save composers an immense amount of time!

Hi Nils, We are letting others chase that beautiful dream. In our eyes, it is more important to provide the flexibility for each composer/arranger to get exactly the performance he wants, by providing LOTS of articulations. Paul/VSL
I wish they'd do a whole new Synchron Solo Strings...

Great one! Can we please have a playback template for Dorico that's compatible with the full versions? I'm stuck with the basic versions/articulations at the moment and it would be a lot of effort for everyone to create those expression maps from scratch.
One thing that I'm missing from the product page and documentation of SYzd Solo Strings is the actual amount of velocity layers and round robins for each articulation. Saying things like "Up to 9" doesn't count.

It depends on the articulation. If you need details for specific articulations feel free to contact us via support@vsl.co.at and my colleagues will look it up.
I bought this library - after looking this excellent Walkthrough. But: I have other Factory Presets. VelXF, VelXF sus, Velocity. So its a little bit difficult to reproduce this Video on my PC.
No flautando legato?
Do not get me wrong VSL is one of the most realistic sounding orch systems for known reasons. Heads up guys! But: Is it just me or do the high notes sound a lil plastic here. I also realized that on some of the VSL website demos. Are there any pitched samples used or is each note sampled separately?

2200 views in 5 months tells a lot. So, it is time for 2 licenses per product.
