These 'worst rated' food reviews you do are not only interesting viewing but also quite likely saved a few people from getting food poisoning, so therefore also act as a valuable Public Service Announcement. Spanian, I agree with you about the two buckets of shaved meat underneath the fryer at 'Kebabs on King' in Newtown. 1000% for sure THAT meat was being put in kebabs!! TWO big buckets of cooled down meat just sitting there, I don't think they're there to decorate the kitchen LOL. The other place with the flies in Pyrmont, straight up should be fined and closed down! With the flies comes serious questions like what's rotting in that kitchen that's making the flies hang around? (I hope whatever is rotting in there doesn't end up being given to a customer!) Where were those flies BEFORE they started flying on and around those raw ingredients? (The flies could have been in contact with rats or cockroaches before they ended up on that food!). For any business in the food industry, a fly problem is a very bad problem to have.

The buckets of meat could be old or bad meat that they don't want. I used to work in fast food and they would have buckets under the counters of chicken or hash browns or whatever food that either fell on the floor, wasn't cooked properly or wasnt good enough to serve. The buckets would get emptied every day so that could be it.

Great Review . Sadly , you missed the best Kebabs in Sydney by 50 years . George St in Sydney , opposite what is now the Cinema complex. 1972. Next to a Pinball Parlour , but the smell of oregano and roasted meat wafting out into George St was irresistible . Strange things in the salad display case , onions with reddish flakes sprinkled over them (Sumac) . What looked like seasoned grass clippings ( Tabbouleh ) . Meat sliced thinly ( not the compound beef rolls of today ) . Rolled up in a flat piece of something bread like ( definitely not a loaf ) , $1.50 . We had never seen food like this ! 10 years later , the Bosporous Kebab House in Hornsby . BEST KEBAB EVA CUZ! Bread baked to order on the Saj , and a Kebab twice as thick as the sad offerings nowadays . From memory , $2.50. Same year , one of the first Kebab Caravans , and their Chilli Sauce was outrageous ! Very popular with Motor Cyclists at that time .

Hey Hey was my usual when I lived in Sydney. My regular Saturday routine was pick one up on the way home from playing at Masif. That microwave thing has always happened since the first time I went there in the early 2000s, never gotten sick and I never really found it an issue (but in all fairness, now that I think about it, he is the only guy that does it and yeah it makes no sense as the rotisserie is meant to keep it hot anyway). The garlic sauce is also a bit of a sour yoghurt situation and honestly my favourite part of the kebab. But yeah it's a bit of a sad story with the boss. I remember back in the 2010s, he had a few guys working for him as well as his wife. From what I heard, his staff were stealing from him and I'd walk in on him being abused by his wife every now and then. Since then, I've never seen the wife ever again nor has he ever had any more staff. He's a one man show and I think it's broken his spirit.

Great video and thank you sir for your tireless efforts and truth for the good of the people. Word to the wise, those buckets are for what you described in your video, straight out that's a yes. However, the other side of that coin is that the majority of those meats are regularly distributed amongst various non for profit charity groups that do end up making a profit that no one ever heard about but there is a plus side to that coin also. These meats are eventually consumed by people who can not afford to eat in the same place as the rest of the other people who can. There is very little wastage in this fashion, much unlike our allies in the good old US of A where people are paid good money to go around collecting food for the homeless which results in that food being thrown straight into the bin whilst they spend the day shopping and hanging out in cafe's. At least here in Oz there is more of a sense of community, and I just wanted to clarify this reality to you. Keep up the good fight, good sir. I salute you, we bleed the same colour so as far as I am concerned, we are on the same side. Peace be with you.

Flies aren’t just buzzing around and landing on the food for fun or to eat.. they’re laying eggs..MAGGOTS 🤮 and that’s how you can get severe food poising. It’s disgusting! The meat buckets is definitely for the Uber eats & online delivery orders 😭 WTF ..makes me think that this & similar practices are probably something a lot of delivery orders from various restaurants do not just this Kabab spot. Good chances are you’re getting old or left over food when ordering from delivery service, likely not fresh 😅 YUCK.

In Kempsey on the Mid North Coast of NSW, we have had 1 Kebab shop. They used to do a great Kebab for a decent price. During Covid they rebranded, still did the same Kebab I was use to until they expanded/renovated the store. Sure they added pizza's, Pides and a few new products, but the quality of their Kebabs fell drastically. For starters they removed the Cafe Press they previously used to toast the made Kebabs, now leaving you with a untoasted mess that would become cold and soggy within 5 minutes, the cheese wouldn't even melt it was that bad. Their price shot up drastically also what was a $12 item with almost everything for that price now became a $16 item including only lettuce, tomato and onion. Everything else was $1 - $2 extra. As business has slowed up they are more often keeping the meat in warmers for extended periods then quickly tossing it on the grill to warm it up. Chips are hit or miss, during busy dinner or lunch rushes you are bound to get ones that have been sitting for 10 mins. Snack packs went from $12 to $16 then next thing I know they are $20. There was a 2nd Kebab Shop ran by a local youth agency that unfortunately shut down due to Covid restrictions. If anyone wants to come run a decent Kebab Shop in Kempsey NSW All you have to do is be better than the other shop and you will flourish.

the problem with reviews is that if youre happy with the meal you probably wont be bothered to put a review, its the unhappy customers that are more likely to make a review. So reviews arent always accurate
