Sydney and Steven - The Dublin Vlogs Day 3 ("Sing Street" Film Locations)
www.sydney-yaeko.com
On my third day in Dublin, I walked around to various film locations from the Irish movie Sing Street. As I walked around on my first day, I felt like I'd been to Dubln before. It was then that I realized that a movie I really enjoyed a couple years back took place here.
If you haven't seen it yet, Sing Street is a coming of age story set in the 80s about a teenager with big dreams of becoming a musician and winning over the local girl of his dreams. And while the premise is cliche as ever, it's a unique take on what it means to grow up.
In this episode of the vlog series, I visit Synge Street CBS, where the title of the movie comes from, The Grove House, Fusco's Cafe and St. Catherine's Park.

I went to that school as a kid.
I went to that school for 3 years and was an extra in the movie because they just hired all the kids from the school as extras! Nice memory lane :)
I love the movie. It felt like a John Hughes movie
