    Yeah, I stayed at this hotel for 8 days and paid almost $5,000. We got a dumpy room that smelled like urine. The small refrigerator in the room was not working and I had to throw away the snacks that I purchased. Our window faced an area in the back of the hotel where the trash bins were kept. In the long, musty hallway, there was an area where apparently garbage from the rooms was kept. I spent some time in the room unfortunately because something I ate for breakfast in the hotel did not agree with me. Since we had arrived late to check into the hotel because of our delayed flight from Dublin, I suspect that our room was given away because we had to wait until the room was fitted with two twin beds which we requested from the start. I suspect that we were given a cheaper room because we had to walk a maze of hallways to get to our room. The hallway had an old and tired look.

    At that time around September 2014, the mall was still standing. It was dead, but a lot of people there, not shopping but were eating at Dynasty and the Tatami Buffet

    I just found this video. I knew Vallco Mall was struggling in recent years, but I didn't know things were this desperate. You know you're in trouble when your anchors are the likes of Sears or Macy's. I see this again and again - a mall dies, condo complex grows in its place. Soon, we won't have anything but condos and townhouse complexes! Boring architecture. I travel to Europe and Asia, and over there the malls are full of life. What the heck is going on with malls of America?

    9:16 And that's the lot I always parked in when I did go there, never went anywhere else, if it was full I'd just circle, around and around and around...lol A spot usually opened up pretty quickly, but I liked that entrance for some reason. Easy to get in, easy to get out I guess.

    I've actually got three stories about this mall, the first one I'm not 100% sure about though, I thought it was the grand opening of the mall but I just looked and saw that the dates were off, maybe it was a grand opening for one of the stores, but I remember Darth Vader being there signing autographs, like I said, the dates don't match up, but he signed my balloon DVader, I was actually mad when me and my mom got home, I still remember saying "DVader, that's not the real Darth Vader" I really thought it would have been the real one....lol The second one is my mom was dating this shoe salesman at the mall, I remember going to see him when the mall was just being built, I remember when they put in those dual escalators outside Macy's, I still remember going down them when we left, but the guy was married so I don't think it was too serious, plus he was like really short, but they were having a contest where for one day you could be a ball boy for the Golden State Warriors, I thought it was a country wide thing, like something all the stores were doing, but I'm thinking it was just that one shoe store, but of course "I won", not sure how he rigged it but me and another kid got a free Adidas shirt, a free Adidas cap, and free Adidas shoes, and basically what we did was throw the balls back to the players during warm-ups, and sweep the key with a broom that had a towel wrapped around the head during any kind of break, and the court when someone fell, it was cool, we sat under the rim, and man, when they dunked, i thought the backboard was going to break a couple times, but I was a kid, and not too much into basketball, I was more a football kid, but I do remember seeing John Lucas and Robert Parish. The third story is actually pretty funny, and it shows how kids can be manipulative little brats...lol. I was walking through the mall and I was about twenty feet behind a mother and father, while their son was about five feet behind them, we were on the upper level about to turn the corner outside of Macy's, he looked to be about 3 or 4, he was walking but kind of unstable, like the waddle young kids do, but he was walking behind them and I can see that the turn was coming up but he didn't turn, something had caught his attention and he was looking somewhere else, so I'm walking behind them and I see this kid start walking at an angle heading towards one of the stores, I'm like, no, don't tell me he's actually going to do it, and about the time I said that, WHAM!, right into the edge of the store, not the door frame, more of the edge, you know how the front of the stores looked, but it was either the first or second store on the left in the picture, but there was this very loud thud, and the look on his face was priceless, it was so hard not to bust out laughing but he got this blank look on his face like, wtf just happened, just a total wth, I laugh at the memory, but I guess the parents realized what happened, they turn and they go, "ahhhhhhhhhhh, are you ok?" and that's when the kid burst out crying, I walked by saying under my breath, "faker" He was fine until they gave him attention, if they would have turned around and said something like, "come on, hurry up" and pretended they didn't hear it, he would have never started crying. I was never really a fan of this mall, but the closing of the Sunnyvale Town Center, that one really hurt. sf.curbed.com/2018/10/12/17968200/demolition-vallco-mall-cupertino-nimbys-housing-silicon-valley

    Hi. Nice video, thanks. I'm curious, didn't notice if you dived into this; does this oil once vaporized stain its surroundings, or does it over time cause nearby surfaces and/or objects to become "sticky"?

  • @SydneyYaeko
    @SydneyYaeko3 жыл бұрын

    That’s a good question! I haven’t noticed any residue on objects around my diffuser. I also only use 5-10 drops per use. I think if you were someone who preferred 20+ drops and used it daily you may notice something over a long period of time, but it’s nothing I have experienced personally!

    I like your review! You are super cute! :-) You were talking about using tap water, that is actually what is recommended because the ultrasonic plate uses the minerals in the water to make it work better, while you can use distilled water the mist output will be greatly reduced. I have tested many different diffusers most of them didn't meet my expectations until I found the brand Ellia which is a boutique high end brand from Homedics my favorites are the Reflect and Adore models they are made of real wood, glass, & stone they are super pretty and are packed with cool features they have a remote (eliminates ugly buttons), they have a library of relaxing spa like sounds, and of course has mood lighting which looks very enticing especially in the charcoal smoked glass. They also work better than any of the 25 diffusers I tested. It doesn't have a ton of mist like some but the scent is more concentrated their for fills the room quicker so it's perfect for homes that don't need humidified. I actually just ordered the Wander model I can't wait to try it out it's supposedly their most powerful model AND it is cordless and rechargeable!! I have wanted to get it for a while now but I didn't want to spend that much money on it, well I found it on sale a t Belk online for only $34! It's normally $59-$79 depending on where you get it from so that's a great price! I hope you try one of them out they are awesome!! BTW their is only one I don't like and it's the Enliven model it has 2 separate tanks/misters which you would think would be cool, but not really this one has too much surface area inside so the scent retention isn't that great (the more air space inside the quicker the scent goes away). Have a great day! :-)

    I just received my first Vitruvi diffuser with 5 oils. I love it so much that I’m planning on ordering a second one. For my bedroom I order a set of herbal oils. But for my second Vitruvi diffuser (planing on placing this one by the foyer) I would like some sweet scents. Is there some specific sweet oil scents that you could recommend? Thank you. Have a great night and stay safe.
