I hope they keep the original 80's vibe of the film. That was one of it's most interesting bits for me.

Yes - saw it off Broadway and was pleasantly surprised how closely they followed the film. The added songs go along well with the rest of the production.

This is one of the best scenes in the movie- where they show Connor and Eamon writing the song, and then the other guys appear in the shot rehearsing... Plus Raphina starts figuring out what the songs are about lol. I love the movie... And I bet it's amazing onstage! Can't wait to see it after covid-

Totally agree. The first time I saw this scene in the cinema I cried the whole out of me. Coz it was so inspirational and touching moment for me as a musiclover, singwriter and singer

Sing Street truly deserved it that recognization from Broadway to keep in the next generations. It was beautiful about the 80s, me a 19 years old girl loved this film just as much as the 80s music. I hope to love the Broadway show ❤💐

THE MOVIE IS ADAPTED INTO BROADWAY?! WHAT HOW COULD I DIDNT KNOW????

I loved the movie. I loved the Off Broadway production. And I bought tickets on the first day of sales for the Broadway run to see the show in May! Just as I loved seeing how the show was changed around to adapt it for the stage, I'm looking forward to seeing what changes are made from the NYTW to a bigger venue and for a Broadway audience.

ugh wish i could see the musical. looking forward to the full cast recording.

I loved this show at NYTW. Subsequently, I watched the movie, which was also lovely -- the musical captures the feeling of the movie beautifully, and I liked the musical even more than the movie. Can't wait to see it again on the Great White Way.

Been a fan of Sing Street since it’s first release!! Seeing the broadway ver gave me so much nostalgia🥺It was so well made and even if it’s a bit different from the movie’s version, it’s a good thing. It gives a more broadway 80s-ish vibe and I’m glad how it turns out!! Both the movie and this version are unique in its own way💘

I know the chorus is in octaves, but the only reason everything else sounds lower is because he's singing with a darker tone.

A little lack-luster compared to the film version. This is the show's anthem. Maybe punch it into a big number that leaves an impression.

Was a Great Movie... i have the soundtrack,, (Love it).. the broadway tracks are okay,,, not better than the Movie,, and some of them are overproduced... .,, that said,, i would still see the show in a heartbeat

Ok, I cannot stand musical theatre and musical films, but Sing Street is a great movie. This version is alright, but why did they do that with the chorus? It sounds flat and robotic to me, I want to hear the pain!
