Definitely. You can enjoy it as a KOTOR 3 game, too, even if you are not interested in the endgame at all. The class stories alone bring so much to do.

You end up in the true endgame. Play pretty princess dress up with your character.

Lost count of how many times I finished the story already. In my opinion, getting to Echoes of Oblivion alone is worth a subscription and I'm speaking as a preferred player. It does what the Disney sequels couldn't , conclude a chapter with a satisfying climax. What's more, it is YOUR saga. In the end, it makes you feel like you could do JJ Abrams' job but better.

Solid video! SWTOR definitely has the unique quality of being approachable without feeling daunting. Keep up the good work!

Just discovered your video browsing while managing my crafting in SWTOR. 😄 I definitely recommend to new players to experience at least once every planet main story + side quests, not just class story. Even those are fully voice acted with dark/light side choices. Been playing the game on and off for years with many characters, i never boosted any of them and always always did every side quest. For people who love story and RPing their character, it's fun. Also watch the the cinematic trailers of the game. Thanks for making this video about it, it's the only mmorpg i still love playing after years. It's an unique and fun experience.

SWTOR is probably the best mmo for non-hardcore/endgame high skill pve, I had an absolute blast playing this game and I can't recommend the story campaigns that this game provides. I keep coming back to this game every now and then and its always an awesome experience.

I used to raid in SWTOR a bit and more before that in WoW (Played since TBC, quit sometime during WoD), but nowadays as "adult", or in general as I get older, I often feel like I don't really have that much time like I used to, and I also just.. I don't know, often don't really want to. You have to get ready in certain hour on certain day, you must wait for everyone else to join, and then it may happen your group will screw up, and you just loose several hours with nothing. SWTOR has something I always wanted in WoW - the story. With all those different choices it offers great replayability, and also more replayability now with combat styles, or even with outfits. I never had so much fun with transmogs in WoW, like I have with SWTOR outfits. I still do some endgame here and there, but often just make new character and play some story again

​@@NixxiomOnKZread The SWTOR community love nothing more than a Cartel Market giveaway hehe. Add one of those to each SWTOR video at the end or something and watch them pile in on your new uploads. Any gold or plat item should do the trick. Even a small giveaway of cartel coins helps. Just a tip from a veteran SWTOR uploader.

Looks like there’s lots of fun things to do at endgame.

Swtor has great progression system at endgame in my opinion. It's real easy to get "almost BiS" and if you want to go full BiS there are options to do that by running the veteran mode of the newest current raid. You still get currencies to gear up alts even using other characters. Everything is legacy bound and can swap between characters, you can fully gear out a character before they even hit max level, once they hit max you can just transfer the gear to them and you're good. Probably the most alt friendly mmo i've ever played. Also the current raiding meta is really reminiscent of old school wow in my opinion, people form groups using the chat tool instead of queuing. I've raided more in the last 2-3 months than the past 11 years ive been playing the game combined, I love it. Would highly recommend trying out the raiding scene now if you are at all interested

Make a new character, do the storyline again. After 2-3 characters, you just do the 1-50 stuff. That's the best part of the game.

Honest this video could not have come out at a more perfect time. Just finished the bounty hunter story and was wondering what to do besides grinding the side quests

3:40 confirmation from myself. I play FTP now, and finishing up all the classes I didn't finish. Since it's FTP and I had unlocked all sorts of cartel items via subscription bonuses they are still available to my characters now.

I guess there are a few small things you could have mentioned. How gear is accountwide, that we can choose the stats of gear pieces through item mods, or the actual end game grind of this game, which is augments. Epic and legendary augments are the ones that take you the most time to grind, it's like you get 95% of your gear pretty quickly but the final 5% takes a shit ton of work to get. Also, since every piece of content is scaled to you or vice versa there are some difficulty spikes in raiding. Like taking your MC pug to fucking Kil'jaden in Tomb of Sargeras type of spikes. But other than that I would say you summed it up pretty well.

The newer stuff of recent is a bit lackluster. They continue to rehash the same villain that was in the main story.

Legendary Player. Played all the storylines and I do have the ones I love and the ones I don't. Main ones I love Sith warrior and the Bounty Hunter. I love to play my two tanks but my main is my Jug who I am still working on getting more and more gear besides decorating all my damn houses.

Some mistakes I've noticed: -Ilum and Malgus Betrayal Story before Makeb - KOTFE and KOTET are from level 60 to 70,not 65 to 70. Edits might follow Edit: Didn't notice another mistake, great video!

You stand around at fleet in your cool clothes with your cool ligthsaber with as many effects as possible. Obviously.

A lot of good and true stuff here:) Don't forget about Odessen! You can always go back to your 'Fallen Empire' base and do missions/Starforges?.. and gain More companions to use, excellent cosmetics and other loot!😁 edit: You can build rep with each of your main contacts at the base and teleport to them in your Contacts menu:)

DUDE!!!! You are really making me want to get back into SWtOR. I stopped way back at Iokath. I do miss the game. I wish they would do a Classic style like WoW cuz the death in the game is just as irrelevant in SWtOR as it is in WoW retail. BUT yeah I was ALL OVER this game back when it was good.

Along with ESO, the only MMO where I've just enjoyed the moments of doing and being in the game without feeling like I have to constantly progress. Just switch on, dive in and enjoy. Good times.

i miss that game. i miss my sith sorcerer. unfortunately, I was terrible at PVP and I got tired of being chewed out by keyboard bullies.

PVP is pretty intolerable most of the time.

They need more companion interaction this should be their next expansion. More stories with companions being able to make love to them whenever you want. They could even have your choice of 4 companions on story mode ops. This would bring back so much more enjoyment to the game.

You forgot to mention that you'll want to get to Fallen and Eternal content once, but unlike the unique epic stories you experienced from every class previously... from that point on it's shared. Just discovered I'm sitting at 90% steam achievement completion, the remaining 10% must have appeared in the last 6 or 7 years of my absence. Doesn't sound like there's much after your legacy hits legendary,

What to do at endgame? Find a good guild and get all the NiM timed run titles.

do you get exclusive loot from doing raids?

i already done everything i need new story quest or new MMORPG sw tor 2

so what is the player population? I world pvp style does it have any of that or is pvp only in certain places.

I never much enjoyed the story and plot of "Knights of the fallen empire and eternal throne" There's a few REALLY good missions, and the branching storytelling is good, but besides that the overarching story isnt really that good and goes against that era of star wars IMO. It feels weird, and the gameplay itself is very easy despite the differing difficulties. The endgame achievement hunting and collection is really fun.

You're right, they changed the names from hard mode/ nightmare mode to veteran/ master mode a few years ago and the hardcore team just kept the old names because that's what they knew. It's really unnecessary in my opinion, I guess nightmare mode sounds scarier and harder than master mode.

while KOTFE/ET are AMAZING stories they are pretty much just KOTOR 3 (not a bad thing at all) so when you play a non force user you feel SO out of place

hear me out. unless you're an absolute masochist, you will want to skip the Knights of the Eternal Empire and Knights of the Eternal Throne after your first playthrough of them. they are fun to do once, but after that, not so much. So what you want to do is subscribe, to get a 20% permanent XP boost after level 20, then you want to use xp boosts so you over-level the content you are doing. feel free to do the planet heroics after you have done your class mission on that planet. Your goal is to hit level 70 by the time you finish your class story, if you don't, feel free to do the Makeb expansion after finishing Ilum. Even Shadow of Revan if you must. If you are level 70, you will be able to grab "Jedi Under siege" from your console on your ship, this will skip all the stories up to that expansion, including KotFE and KotET expansion. Makeb is fun to do once or twice and still better than doing the other one. But the game will make choices for you, you can look up what they are if you want. This is at least my suggestion. I did not enjoy playing through them several times, it felt like a chore

Oh... rewatching this video again months later, noticed you totally forgot world bosses. every world has one. some are much harder than others.

7:00 crafting is a shell of what it used to be. :/ It was so much better.

Only problem with swtors story playthrough is that there Is literaly 0 challenge , it's mind numbingly easy

Your endgame can be: ops, reputation farming ,stronghold and flagship dekorating ,gearing ,pvp or gsf , glamour ,side questing ,world bosses and conquest.

SWTOR..... One of the best Single Player MMOs.

You can't craft epics as a returning player -10 out of 10.

Really hating season 4 of dragonflight, m+ is way too hard to get in to and the story blows. Ive enjoyed swtor so much recently, the class feels good to play and the story is great. Your class story is involved endgame and its so cool. I just hit max level and gearing is somewhat difficult. Im not great lol. But Ill bet its easier than I think.

Actually with Flashpoints. You can skip Master mode as noone plays it. Stick to veteran and you’ll get end game gear just fine

Free2play players has a cap of level 60 AND 1M credits (on a game that has SEVERE CASE OF INFLATION). Just throwing out here for any thinking of playing. The game will basically BLOCK you and tell GET A SUBSCRIPTION

@@anteprs7908 I highly doubt that boss, story wise sure (it's Bioware) but when you reach level 60 the game basically roadblocks you unless you get a sub. I mean 1M cap? On a server that has a severe inflation problem.... Flashpoint/Dungeon items you can't even equip etc, you can't even dip your toe on end game. I mean sure it's a 10 year old game with a skeleton closet developers since the others basically got shanghaid to other games.

You ruin the Revan plot and defeat the emperor in the most confounded way

You stop playing because there is no end game in SWTOR unless you want to play more of the class stories.

saying KotFE and KotET have these massive implications on choice is pretty misleading imo. There are only 4 choices that actually matter. Whether or not you get your ship stolen, who dies in the final battle, do you save the mother and her child, and how much do you want to dedicate to getting a doctor back. That's really it. Not to mention KotFE and KotET make absolutely 0 sense on tech classes or the Jedi Consular class. The other 3 class stories at least have some tie to the emperor or force ghosts. The ex-machina nature of Iokath and then what happens to the Eternal Fleet post KotET because of "lmao your choices cant actually matter in an MMO"-type writing is also horrible. I think i speak for most of the original supporters of SWTOR when I say the game ended with Shadow of Revan. SWTOR 2 is what came after. Hell, you're not even referenced as your actual class anymore. Just as "commander" after KotET or "Outlander" during it save for a few blips.

Maybe do a video about the morons that have the nerve to put a pair of boots on the GTN for $3 billion credits. Cmon.

yeah level up fast.... so your armor sucks to planet scale down to that level.... it's still awful....

Unfortunately, Fallen Empire and Eternal Throne are some of the worst MMO expansions that I have ever played. Yes, there are new systems, but both expansions are more movies that game. You clear an area (about 2 minutes) and then get to watch 5-10 minutes of cutscenes and then repeat. You spend about 80% of both expansions watching cutscenes and not playing. And the story trope is just continually make things worse for the player. You think you've succeeded, nope, the game takes that away from you over and over and over again. I strongly suggest skipping these two expansions.

I’ve just played through them and I loved the cutscenes. For me, it was the boring combat that took the momentum out of the stories. If I could have just had cutscenes, decisions and boss fights I’d have been very happy.

Thumbs down for putting an add in the beginning and showing a web cam.

Trolling general chat on fleet and showing off your space barbie. Swtor is heavily focused on the RPG part and the single player experience actual mmo content like new dungeons/raids & pvp warzones/arena are far and few between. If your looking to play a good star wars single player story sure you can have some fun looking for an mmo look elsewhere.

End game is buying guild flagships like real estate.

All side questing was important back in the day when you didnt just have to logg in to become max level and when 1 million in credits was a god damn fortune. Now you just start the game and you are pretty much there. And then the game was actually hard if you went to a same level world or even a higher tier world. I lost intrest in this when i just used an offhand item and boots and then just let my companion do all the rest. That is how god damn boring easy the game have become. When you can do Heroic missoins and not needing good gear or any skill what so ever. And this down fall of the game started as far back as 3.0 Dont get me wrong i spent way to much time in this universe and have done pretty much everything and the stories are just fantastic well most of them anyway. The jedi stories and the trooper are just dogshit but who cares SITH all the way. And i should say that i stopped playing when they started talking about the update where you should be able to cross factions and skills. That is just so far of lore and what all classes are against that its just stupid. No jedi would ever teach deathfield just as an example. Its just sad that they have been more intrested in squizzing the last penny out of every player than creating more content. Its just to far between good updates and expansions and the fact that you become a damn beta tester for every update that has ever been made. And for the 8 or so years i played they never ever manage to fix the balanse in PvP and always complained every time we players out dps'd the game with every new STUPID level cap change. Just take a hard look at a game like Fashion Wars. they never raised the lvl cap and people still grind the living shit out of it. Here you grind like insane and they fuck up all your work with a single lvl cap raise and all your gear across your account becomes just garbage. I know they made some changes but its WAY to late.

Nice sale job... It's in maintenance mode. I played it from the betas to 2021... I loved it....but it's very dated

Really fun MMO. Has the best PvP out of any MMO imo. Has the best story content out of any MMO. There is so much about SWTOR that is so good and well designed.
