An electro swing version of the worldwide 1989 hit PUMP UP THE JAM originally performed by TECHNOTRONIC. Here Italy's SWINGROWERS meet Canada's THE LOST FINGERS in a dance-floor cover that takes the tune in an unexpected new direction... The video is shot in the bands home town of Palermo in Sicily and includes an iconic Fiat 500.
The track was featured in the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing 2019 when Alex and Neil Charleston in Week 5.

I remember going into Woolworths and buying the original 7" for 99p. And look where it took me, seems I've gone full circle. Swingrowers can turn anything into something truly special, absolutely love them.

I go to goth clubs, no rap there :) Sadly not a lot of this either, but at least no rap played there. Mostly house, techno, electro, 80s - 90s goth rock etc.

I used to hear the song all the time on the radio (B-103 anyone?) in the early 90s and I never got sick of it even though a lot of people did. I definitely was not one. Such a fun song!
