Erika, I've been working on the True Swing (got your book and been watching your videos). A major problem I've always had with my swing is starting on-plane. When I first learned about the true swing, I was hoping that starting on-plane would "just happen naturally" with the true swing, like other things do. But even when working on the true swing, it was still sometimes a problem for me. I thought I was either doing something wrong, or perhaps misunderstood one of the true swing concepts. But in this video I believe you're saying that starting on-plane may still require drilling to get to a proper check-point position, correct? I hope I'm not the only one that has to work on starting on-plane.

Do you have to keep the lead arm straight all the way?
