Swervedriver are my favourite band of all time. They are the only band where the songs get better every single time I listen to them. INCREDIBLE songwriting. Thank you Swervedriver.
Saw Failure and Swervedriver a couple of months ago in a tiny room in Nashville, TN. Dream billing.

Last train to satansville was so awesome. I loved all the laser gun sounds and little guitar effects, beautiful controlled chaos. . MEZCAL HEAD I would say is in the top 3 albums of the whole 90's decade so I'm glad they did a couple songs from it.
Here in 2024 and this band will always be a favorite. Best part 0:00 to 46:15!
I left a negative comment earlier and I was right, the guitars were ok for the most part but were challenged by definition. Sound engineers did ok on this and managed to get the vocals through which is rare. They just deserve better. The camera crew and production team did awesome. Audio wise Dual turned out pretty good and enjoyable to watch and listen.
Saw them in Cambridge, great gig, vibe and energy was in the stratosphere !! Sorry to hear Steve was ill and couldn't make the tour but Mick was rock fucking solid. Christ it's a magical experience to watch Adam and Jimmy play with one another. Adam is brilliant in his own right, but there's another level when he and Jimmy are really on, and they were that night....despite having tech issues with some of his gear which added a bit of humor to the evening. Also, Gateway Drugs who were supporting were excellent.
Absolutely love this band! I've seen them three times, and always been a great show.
Mick Quinn of Supergrass as fill-in bassist here as Steve George was unable to perform.. If anybody was wondering why the line-up was different :p

Carlos Elgueda It's all one big rock, Carlos. I live in NY state in the USA, but most times I just want to live in a warm place, far away. Necesito los lugares cálidos donde crecen muchas frutas.
Performance is solid, in spite of the technical glitches. But the SXSW audience is mostly dead, what a disappointment. For a performance in front of far more appreciative concertgoers, see the MoshCam recording of their concert in Sydney. That's a show for the ages! Everyone was up on their feet and totally into it, and the band was feeding off the audience's energy.

I never comment, but can't help mentioning how lame that crowd was. zero energy... seemingly oblivious to their rarefied chance to see a great band live. Nice recording anyway. thanks for posting.

I suspect that the sound recording wasn't set up to capture crowd noise. They do sound quiet, but I expect that we aren't catching the whole deal there.
