Too many idiots complaining this isn't the original lineup. Come on kids, if you were real fans you would be more supportive and appreciate that the music is still being played live. If these guys came to my town, I would be there for sure! It sounds awesome to me!

Brilliant band! Much love to them and all of the Sweet fans! I named my kitten Willy cuz he wouldn't go home!
I do love the look on the faces of some of the 'heavy fans'. Priceless :) I adore the heavy version of the group, but you old heavies have to remember that this is what they were originally, as beautifully summed up with 'we never sung it'. I doubt most of the audience knew what that really meant.

What do you mean?
I was a baby when the Sweet were in their prime and living in the States; therefore I never had the chance to experience them live. Whenever I hear them, it's gold to my ears. This performance with Andy being the sole original member is no exception.
Saw Sweet @rebbellionfest couple of years ago... Yes a punk Festival... All punk and skins were dancing and singing ... Still brilliant

I'll always consider Sweet proto-punk because of their garage-y sound.
They look like they are having sincere fun . It's not the classic lineup but it's a fine rendition still containing some of that magical Dna .
Long live Sweet's music forever!!🎤🎸🎵🥁
Sweet is one of my favorite rock groups.I've been listening 2 them since 1973.🎸
With Andy's guitar and backing vocals sounds lit like original
It's not The Sweet, but it's keeping their music alive. Excellent stuff!
Great rhythm guitar riffing is such a lost art and Sweet were one of the absolute best. These are power pop songs but what made them hard rock was the ATTITUDE in Brian Connolly's vocals and Andy Scott's iconic edgy tone on the guitar. This really makes me wanna bust out my '65 Firebird and learn these songs
They still rock

Even this video is from 17 years ago! Who knows how these guys are nowadays and if they still rock? This is a great video, though!
Thanks 🙏 just love ❤️
Awesome guitar tone, dripping distortion everywhere!
Absolutely one of the genius real rock singles of all time. ( the original version.)

Zeker Fabian. Ik geloof dat ik jou ook in Zoetermeer gezien heb.
Sounds great guys!
Brilliant
Sure it isn't the original lineup, but ask yourself after considering their age and Brian's passing almost 10 years before this if it would really be the same if they all showed up. Besides Andy is there and arguably he was the second Front Man and all these guys play great. The spirit is there and it sound freaking great.

Two perfect pop songs.. 🤘
This fills me with nostalgia, this is actually the Sweet I grew up with. Except it was mostly Pete instead of Tony. I saw them live multiple times. One time Tony returned for a few concerts while Pete was away. And I hated every second of the gig. I love Pete, and I felt cheated that day. But looking back he did the same thing as Pete did - taking Brian‘s role and giving it a personal touch instead of trying to replace him. In my eyes The Sweet (together wirth Smokie with Mike Craft - whom Pete replaced recently) are one of the best examples of carrying a legacy on without staining the original, celebrating the old hits live while not trying to imitate what is gone.

@@Anitasemp The ones from this lineup? The singer Tony O'Hora left for some time and was replaced by ex-Sailor singer Pete Lincoln. Later O'Hora Returned as Keyboard player when Steve grant left. Now both Lincoln and O'Hora are gona again with Pete Lincoln becoming the singer for Smokie. Just read the story on Wikipedia about Andy Scott's Sweet - it is very complicated with several people going and returning in other positions!
I love how, in "Little Willie", O'Hora jumps to the high harmony on the chorus. Very tasty.
Loving this!
Bloke in the white looks like he's had some Charlie.
Sweet managed to range from glam to black metal!!!
Andy is keeping Sweet's music in the public view but i would like to see some more old clips on here (the ones that were on Steve's channel but got blocked!!) Please sort it out ASAP!

Не худший вариант.
Sweet were very popular in the USSR of the late 1970th, but their time has gone n it should be a history. now it's a ridiculous sight
Not as pretty as Brian, but the vocals were right on.
No me gusta el vocalista!!!! No superará nunca a Bryan Connnoly
No Brien,no Sweet sorry
Schrecklicher Gesang!!!
This isn't sweet
Today I unsubscribe Why bc I not want to see all this Andy swett , it has nothing to do with sweet , without Brian no sweet, a true sweet fan knows that.. Rip Brian. See you up there
Andy is cool but without Brian, Steve ,Mick there's no Sweet.
