QMU - there's a blast from the past! Used to go there at weekends (around 77/78) and walk home with a bag of pakora! Good to see it survive as in many Universities the traditional 'unions' have been changed to coffee-shop type spaces. That has been identified as removing that 'stepping stone' between bar-band and support acts.

I don't think American audiences ever gave this band the warm welcome they deserved, and I have never seen an opportunity to see them live, but i admit that I myself was too young to discover them in time to be on my EARCANDY JUNKIES radar, and I am a bit ashamed for my lack of seeing earlier bands that influenced my idols, til i got into being somewhat of a grapher, tho I do not sell my inked memorabilia like true graphers do, and sole reason HENRY ROLLINS GARFIELD no longer honors is fans with his ink. SWEET shot video ya sweet treat for fellow EARCANDY JUNKIES to eat and beat thy meat to, my band EARCANDY JUNKIES should cover and parody of few choice selections so they get more money from any sales than i ever will, best way to support a band is xover them and see them live, buy up as much merch directly from the group as one can afford to do. GN'R helped CHEETAH CHROME himself seek recovery from a royalty check for their cover of "Ain't It Fun" that forever changed his life, and later, mine, when he allowed me, then insisted that Limelight bar in San Antonio TX grant me and my recording equipment inside for their two song soundcheck and their entire live set, using Minidisc recorder and cheap Panasonic headphones from the early 90s or maybe even late 80s!?
