They're called Nicko Stocks for a reason.

I think the big main difference between shoe with other zss mains is that her playstyle is way more zair heavy like she's way more defensive compared to marss,sharp and AoS that are more aggressive/combo heavy

She mostly plays like this because of shulk as zss usually struggle to get in shulk big hitboxes

As a shulk player what Nicko does is insane

Honestly gotta give props to Shoe. They may not have made top 8, but coming from getting upset so early on in bracket and turning that into a 9th, losing a game 5 nailbiting set that would've gotten them into top 8. Phenomenal run, hope Rister gives them a shoutout in the upcoming video

Why is it "lame?" I'm kind of new to the world of competitive smash, but is there some unspoken etiquette she's breaking? Having a zair heavy playstyle? I know camping with projectiles is generally frowned upon, but what else do people usually find distasteful?

@@conversationstranglersteve9873you can be campy without having projectiles. Basically just means you’re playing overly safe but that’s subjective because you can argue that’s what shoe needs to do in order to win

what is this comment section talking about?? Game 5 is EXACTLY why Shoe needed to play more patient?? Every time she tried to go in, zss got punished. Switching up your gameplay when your opponent adapted to your initial game plan IS the right call; so yes IMO Shoe was smart to play more safe or what you guys call “campy”. - strong zss secondary
