That was crazy. You rarely see someone use fox with that much precision and calm(aside from light). The matchup is bad obviously but regardless his decision making and timing was great.

@@Zanio_XL kaninabe is really good. When I watch him though, his neutral is pretty reckless, he makes it work really well though. Also I’ve also only seen this one set from this guy.

He was at Genesis as well, Took Tea to a Game 5 in Round 2 winners, but sadly got eliminated two rounds after by Kiyarash. I heard he did pretty great at the Genesis pre-local as well

Bro he was just mashing dash shield because ZSS can't safely do anything about that. Whiffing a ZSS grab on fox leads to a lot of damage.

He said on his stream he liked FD against Fox and it makes sense. PS2, Kalos, BF, Hollow and Small BF are bad. The best pick would be Smashville, but the Fox will most likely ban it. So Town and FD are the only 2 remaining. Since ZSS can’t fight Fox up close, she has to cheese him with edgeguards. FD is a smaller stage, so she will need less neutral interactions to get him offstage.

she doesn't have the 'safe' grab option that most top tiers have so zss has to actually read it with moves that don't just beat shield.
