Great vid! A few corrections, though; first of all, Dial Storage is possible with A+B Smash turned on, you just can't use jab to store dial. You'll instead need to use the c-stick, which might be better than jab in practical appilciation since you can use down tilt if you use tilt stick. Down tilt tends to be a better move than jab in most scenarios, so you can realistically store dial while poking at an opponent's shield. You can also do this with A+B Smash off, obviously, just thought it was worth pointing out. Another very important fact that wasn't mentioned is that shulk can activate dial storage by holding b during jumpsquat, allowing for confirms such as Monado Cyclone. It also lets you do neat movement with neutral B, although I haven't found any documented names or showcases of it.

Thats a relief because I need a+b for robin lol.

This is why I think Shulk isn’t S tier, nobody’s willing to spend THAT much time into him in order to learn tech that is pretty much exclusive to his kit.

At dreamcon 2023 I met a cracked shulk player who know how to dial storage well (at the time i didn't know it was D.S) im a DK main and since Up B kills pretty well, I decided to up b him towards ledge but he D.S towards shield and got out of the multi hit and went for a punish. Really confused me for a while till i found this video

This kind of weird shit is what i always adored about smash and why the newer games excite me a little less Although Im glad we have some outliers like shulk and his weird cancel stance thingy, this is really hype and i hope someone puts in the work and gets some good results so i can watch and cheer for em' 🙏

It only works for one art switch, you'll need to reset it afterwards

It is on the video, just hold b on landing lag and your next monado switch will have about 8 frames less of start up
