Hello Lyn, the chilli chicken looks delicious, I'll have a go at that myself! If the problem of water in the car continues ask the mechanics to put your car up on a ramp and check the underneath for rust. If rust forms from water thrown up from a wet road it can leave holes in the undercarriage so any water that is whipped up gets into the car! A good excuse for new car mats xxx

Hi beautiful Chef Lynn, another success. What a perfect little meal. So quick and easy. You'll have to make a cookbook. I think I have everything here and will make this, this coming week. A shame about the car. If you want to get the water up quicker, you can always use a wet/dry vac. Then when you can leave your car open on a sunny day for it to dry out the rest of the way. I sure hope they fixed the issue. We had the same issue but in the house where our central air conditioner pipes got clogged and water was coming out, soaking the carpet in our bedroom. It was a mess. We called a repair man to fix the a/c issue and then used the wet/dry vac to soak up all the water and put an industrial fan to finish drying it out. It did the trick. The carpet is fine with no smell. Listen, be careful where you put me, when watching you cook. I almost fell into the frying pan and got burned. I was scared. 🤣🤣Hope you have a wonderful week, my darling friend. Sending lots of love and hugs always.❤❤❤

Hello my darling, it’s lovely, I think you’ll like it, and of course you use your favourite meat or fish. I’m waiting for a sunny day to arrive, but all I’m getting is rain lol. Yes you can do that inside, it’s just a bit more difficult in the car, the smell is driving me bonkers, it’s awful. I’ve taken all the mats out, and we keep using old shirts to soak up as much as we can, I just have to dig deep for my patience lol 🤣😂😅oh hahaha nooooo don’t be falling in the pan my sweet, I hope your feeling much better my love and the pain is gone. Now don’t overdo it, don’t fall in any pans, and have a fabulous week my beautiful ballerina ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

@@Nanna-MHey Lynnie, I also read after it's dried up to spray with a mixture of vinegar and water if there's still a musty smell. Just wanted to pass it on, in case the smell doesn't completely go away. I'm being careful, when I felt myself falling I grabbed onto the desk. It was a close call, though. 🤣🤣🤣

Hi Lynn,Definitely trying this looks really tasty, always on the look out for a new recipe, try putting a dehumidifier in the car if you even get the disposable ones and put 2/3 in be sure they are placed so they can't fall over,put one in the boot aswell,it should draw the water out,hope that helps❤❤

I had that problem with a car I had years ago and I got it new, it was less than a year old and like you it was coming in through the back lights. Looks yummy! Try to clean the carpet/seat in your car, with white vinegar and baking soda! The put some Vanilla essence in a cup with a bit of really hot water. Let it stand overnight in your car. Hope this will help. ❤

Good Morning Lynne and thank your for this recipe. I have been making sweet chilli chicken for years using breasts of chicken and adding a spoon full of honey , garlic, ginger & lime juice to the onions and peppers, but always done it in the oven. It takes 45 min to an hour..........We love it , but now i have seen how quick this is to do on the stove top, this is how i will be doing it from now on!!!! Why didn't i think of this Doh !! Keep the recipes coming Lynn, love them, and thank you for cheering us up with your smiley face, and chuckle.

I don’t eat meat but could adapt it as I love sweet chilli sauce. You can buy products that you set off in a closed car to get rid of smells. Used one when I bought a car someone smoked in. Guess you need to dry out the carpet before you can tackle the smell.

Looks yummy not a lover of chilli but may try a milder version. Would you be better taking the carpets out of the car and dry them on your washing line or putting a dehumidifier in the car while on your drive . Have a lovely week Xxxx

I’ve taken the mats out, the carpet is stuck down, but a dehumidifier might help Rosa ❤️❤️❤️

Hi Lynn , great video, I shall definitely try that but will substitute the meat for a non meat alternative. I was going to ask where your pans are from too but I’ve just seen that someone else asked so I shall look in Asda . My pans are over 24 years old so I think I deserve some nice new ones 😃. Hi Lynn, Love chilli chicken. will have a go at this next week. I'm going to make 3 different chicken dishes to store in freezer so that will be one of them and maybe chicken curry and a honey and mustard chicken. Hi Lynn, isn't it good when we have a meal out that we love and then come home and make it ourselves, a great feeling of satisfaction especially when it tastes as good. Oh dear, your car. Years ago a bottle of milk spilt into the boot of my car on the way home from shopping. Can't remember how I got rid of the smell, but it was awful. By the way, tried your tip for the lipstick, it worked. Never thought about that, thanks. Love Jean ❤❤xx

Oh it’s the best Jean, it was cafe by the river where I had it, have you been. As for the car, it absolutely stinks lol, and this weathers stopping me from opening the doors to dry it out, 🫣 honestly, what’s next ❤️❤️❤️

I was getting the odd pool of water on the passenger's side footwell mat which overflowed onto the carpet, had me completely flummoxed for months. Turned out 3 inches of the windscreen seal had failed at the top of the screen and was only letting water into the car when parked but not when being driven. Had the windscreen removed and resealed and problem sorted.

I had no idea till the smell started, and my whole car was drenched, hopefully it will dry soon. I didn’t even know that water could get in through back lights, you learn something every day lol 😂❤️❤️❤️ glad you got yours sorted ❤️❤️❤️

Hi! I'm having a mold issue on my car floor where my daughter bottle leaked! Maybe try a wet and dry vacuum cleaner?? I'm thinking of getting one for things like that ! Xx

It was swimming in water, its drying slowly, we took all the mats out, its the smell that’s horrid ❤️❤️❤️ I might get one Jo Jo ❤️❤️❤️

Love sweet chilli sauce would be nice in a wrap you need to get your carpets cleaned in your car as it will get rid of the smell and suck up the water

Shame about your car, I did see (and for the life of me I can’t think where) possibly from B&M that you can get a car dehumidifier it sits on your dashboard as you need to get rid of the water and smell as soon as possible. Thanks for the recipe …. No end to your talents MrsM 😂 take care x
