In this video we will be taking a look at a great top tier Swedish dynamic duo, the T-80U & JA37C in War Thunder.
The T-80U is a battle rating 10.7 squadron vehicle that sits at rank VII in the Swedish tech tree. It is more or less exactly the same as it's Russian counterpart save for the difference in it's best round penetration which is 457mm. This penetration is by no means bad but when you play against the cream of the crop of other nations it forces you to take a extra second to place you shots into weak points. Other than the less penetrative round the T-80U has great mobility and is a awesome tank to get to cheeky spots early game to hold down a sector.
The JA37C is the fighter variant of the Viggen and currently sits at battle rating 11.0 in rank VII. It has recently been surpassed as the top tier fighter for Sweden by the JA37D, however for the purposes of mixed battles it has much the same capability as it's newer model save that of a all aspect missile. The best way to play this aircraft is to start off with a quick rocket run on the AO then switch over to combat air patrol to keep any enemy CAS away from the area which then allows your team to push the cap points.
Whilst these vehicles may not sit at the top of their respective research trees they are still competitive if played right in top tier and the novelty of fighting against the Russians in a T-80U alongside US Abrams always made me chuckle.
