I have everything in the German air and ground tree and I can promise you it will not get better after you get more vehicles after Panstir Russian top tier basically can't lose because how one sided the CAS and CAP has become So I will recommend you stop playing Top tier ground for now

@@GothicHellhound Funnily enough, the devs literally talked about it in their response to the community pantsir outrage. They considered adding Tor M1 for Russia but deemed it was too bad/ not good enough upgrade from the 2s6 tunguska so the pantsir would be a better choice or something. Meanwhile also gaijin: Tor M1 = Pantsir as both are 11.7 right now. Here, the exact text again: "The introduction of the Pantsir-S1 was planned due to the fact that the 2S6/2S6M1 Tunguska SPAAG is significantly inferior to the competition in terms of the combination of missile plus radar efficiency and has some of the worst statistics among all top tier SPAAGs in the game." "Some players also believe that instead of introducing Pantsir-S1, it was worth introducing the TOR-M1 or TOR-M2 systems. However, according to the game statistics, TOR-M1 is also one of the efficiency outsiders in terms of efficiency and simply can’t help to solve the issue of the late Soviet anti-aircraft lineup." Tor M2 they also talked about and rightfully said it would be too strong (yeah, stronger than pantsir). As it gets up to 12 missiles with 16km range and high G overload with longer booster time. In the "fire and ice" update russian devstream they did say they will/consider adding a Tor variant to Russia in the future, likely stronger than the Tor M1. Which, to me, just hints at the Tor M2, so yeah... Russia will probably get the Tor M2 eventually as well, probably not soon but eventually. Maybe they will add the Tor M1 regardless as well tho, doesn't cost much effort anyway.

Maybe with the recent changes its different? I know i get frequent downtiers at 10.7, and even with full uptiers it doesnt even matter. The T-80 is a T-80. Tanks shots with its magic armor.

I don’t know what you’re smoking, but it seems 10.7 GRB is the same as 10.7 ARB, 19/20 games are downtiers, 1/20 are uptiers.

​@@countsudoku6305in crossout even with premium progress is slower than in wt with no premium, and the game has like 0 depth, there are 5 meta builds and anything else just sucks. In wt with premium I was able to grind out a tree from 1st era all the way to 6th in 2 weeks of semi casual play(maybe 10 air RB games a day) in crossout I played for a month and got to 2 purple parts. Fuck that.

Whenever I read BR changes I'm like. "Ok what did they screw up this time." They have ruined several great lineups this way. I hate it that I can't use my HSTVL in 10.3 anymore

The BR changes as a whole suck. It's worse than them doing nothing at all. They "decompressed" the BRs that didn't need to be and ruined lineups. All they did was make big gaps in trees now. Gaijin is beyond incompetent and it's baffling how many people think these changes are good.

And instead of giving room for the 11.0 air vehicles that have been at that br forever they move them to 10.7 so 9.7 planes have to deal with shit they shouldn’t have to. 12.0 is not high enough for air rb

I think that removing the thermals would be a good choice here as Russia gave Sweden a T-80U and not a T-80UE-1 which is one of the variants that actually had thermals. This way gaijin can keep it at 10.7

Also the T-90A being 10.7 is interesting but I guess if the IPM1 stays at 10.7 then sure but T-90 gets 3BM60 and gen 2 thermals. Also hull down it’s pretty nasty.

I have noticed on Russian tanks at top tier that if you hit the ERA first, you lose all spalling whatsoever. I know the anti-spall lining is a thing but I think that’s part of the reason why the ammo just doesn’t go off.

If you look at the protection analysis, from what I see it doesn't matter if you hit ERA or not. With the spall/damage model what happens is the small compartments of the russian tanks eat the spall in a tight controlled area and doesn't reach crew/components. Compare that to an Abrams, and hitting it just about anywhere sends shrapnel in every direction, leaving no survivors at all.

Completely normal phenomenon for russian aviation. Few days ago I directly hit La-200 with HE on BKan (I was out of Proximity shells, yet, I have hit him). He damaged me, killed other guy and came back to airfield.

Some tanks I think they should have not moved up, and in fact moved down in BR would be the Arietes. Now since pretty much all top teir moved up its situation hasn't changed much, but it's still very infuriating to have tanks that should be at least 11.0-10.7 at 11.7 and 11.3

You forgot the T-80UM2 which also sits at 10.7 with 3BM46 :D Sure, no thermals, but that's a good trade for the round imo. Edit: Forgot to mention that it ofc has the DROZD APS, which is actually quite helpful imo.

As someone who has been spading it for the past 2 months? You can play this T-80 at top tier and do just fine after getting the dart. Stupidly good armor. Definitely overlooked since im pretty sure there isn't many people playing this variant.

They also apparently forgot about the M1A1 and IPM1 at 10.7, which have very good shells, especially the M1A1 with a Svinets 2 equivalent shell.

@jtl05 I think you're confusing M1 Abrams and the M1A1. A1 has 800mm of composite plus RHA. The same as the M1A1 HC which is at 11.3 And even if it were true, the Type 90 has an ever weaker turret. Should it be 10.7 too? Armor isn't the only thing at counts. The M1A1 had excellent mobility, Turret traverse, reload and an excellent shell. If all tanks at high tier were decompressed and moved up, why were the abrams spared?

This is one of those tanks where the dozer blade is really effective on some maps. In the El Alamein match if you entrenched on that hill you would've become a meme bunker and also gotten a couple extra degrees of depression. Also works on Maginot and some other big open maps.

Gaijin gets away with it because theres no compition

@@cookiecraze1310 It was at 10.7 compared to 11.3 for the TT versions. No guides munitions but 12x 1000lb bombs and AIM-9Ls made it a pretty decent bomb truck as long as you didnt try to dogfight with it. Being at 10.7, you'd also get alot of downtiers so it wasnt as horrible as its TT counterparts which would get sucked up to 12.0 MM fighting 4th gen jets.

@@5577slayer5577 It's a decent bomb truck but you don't have any real standoff capability in it with the unguided bombs and you need to slow down to use the bombs, at fairly close range. Mind you with Pantsirs standoff really doesn't matter that much anymore. If you for some reason don't get anyone trying to murder you with a Pantsir or a jet then you can wipe out teams.

At the very least the new cannon sounds are nice…I guess.

I think you should try out the Russian tier 2 T80. I havent been playing long but it was a standout favorite when playing. But with the recent monthly assignment I've gone back to it and it's weird how good it is for a tier 2

Hey @Spookston, yesterday i finished painfull grind of the Repear Factory event, and after getting A-7D i decided to sell it and get something suitable for me, Leopard 2AV. I was hoping you could make one explaining video how to play it and generaly say your opinion of the vehicle☺️

This isnt the only time this has happened. few years ago i looked at the BRs of vehicles that are the same on several tech trees and found that some are higher in BR than others, most notably the various M4 Sherman Types shared between pretty much every nation. these at times didnt have any differences apart from the BR they sat in. The T80U imo at 11.3 also sits to high, 11.0 is fine for both

Yea, 125mm cannons do tons of damage compared to 120mms. Playing Chinese tanks I consistently one shot on tanks that normally take me 2 shots with nato 120s. Leo 2A4s get one shot consistently by my ztz, but with a Chally or other nato 120s I normally need to take 2-3 shots.

2:08 it seems like there is a significant delay between when you leave the map boundaries and when the "return to battle" warning pops up. Seems to take way longer to get back into bounds than the amount of time I spend driving near the edge of the map

Bad mobility, bad gun handling, unreliable armor

4:25 holy crap that whole sequence of the jet evading stingers is so cinematic. It almost reminds me of top gun maverick when all the F/A 18s are evading the SAM’s. The music is top notch too. Thanks for the great content Spookston, and keep it up.
