How much would a swap like this cost? I have a 02 supercrew 4x4 that Ive been debating either to rebuild the stock platform with some upgrades or doing the full blown Coyote swap.

Tons of factors there, but parts would be 15-20k

All depends, on a street tire they will live, but the drag radials didnt allow any slip, so something had to give

They don't. There's only so much real estate inside the case to work with. Things get smaller, and when things get smaller their strength is affected. Tougher material does help combat the weakness, but there is an added cost associated with that tougher material. Of the 6R & 10R, the 6R is the better trans. It's more robust and has better strength to it. Now, everything has its limits. The 6R has higher limits to work with as a result of being able to have better amounts of real estate to work with inside the case.

@mustangbill4147 well... 6-8k is the going rate for a 10R rebuild. You're looking at another 12-18 months with the trans. Heavily abused, it'll be the lower of the two. Moderate abuse, you'll probably see the 18 month mark. These 10R's are designed for fuel economy. One thing the 10R does do pretty well, is roll racing. Where there's less of a shock it.

@FoxcastMedia Yes, sticky tires are not very forgiving. Another part is the actual trans itself. To elaborate, those 10Rs really dislike when you have to pedal it. The logic in the trans says "UP SHIFT" when you let off. Then, when you hammer it again, the logic says "DOWN SHIFT". That could be 3 gears both on the up and then 3 on the down. That when the the trans say "F that! I'm done!".

What a bad@ss truck, Adam should be stoked, my opinion there should not be a supercharged coyote truck way too much power in a heavy truck, then again a hellcat almost weights like a truck.

The 10R80 couldn't hold up

I'm die hard ford only.....but those got to be the worst trucks ever
