The Vortech blower kit is very nice! I love how they low mounted the head unit, and it even uses the stock air box… Only problem is no factory warranty, and it’s not a positive displacement blower. A daily/work truck with the 5.0 needs the PD blower. Get that big low rpm torque bump, so the thing will tow a car trailer. Mountains around here lol. Not flat like Texas…

I have a 2650 blower on my 6th Gen SS Camaro. When the temperature gets to the mid 90’s I really start noticing a significant drop in power. I think it’s just the nature of a PD blower in general. Cruising around in the heat really takes its toll on the hot underhood blower that is setting in an oven. My prior built NA C6Z Corvette never lost power to this degree in the summer

Facts bro, I was extra for making the video but want to bring content and awareness. NA, boosted with a Paxton supercharger and TT I didn’t really notice that drastic of a change in power loss. It’s fine, I’m happy with the whipple but kinda crazy that it’s that noticeable

Alot of good knowledge. Just order my 24' I was thinking Roush S/c with Roush active exhaust. But with the heatsoke, I'll start looking at Whipple gen 6 now.

The whipple kit on my 2020 felt like lightspeed in early fall in Michigan when the temps started cooling off a bit

FORCED INDUCTION INTERCHILLER that might do the trick in keeping your Temps down and not have heat soak there expensive but the numbers don't lie on how well they bring Temps down saw another video with a f150 like yours and his running it and it's showing good results

@aldoshifts8395 for sure they run about 1500 starting and it uses your AC which you keep and makes your temp nice and low I will try to tag the video I saw

@@osielgarcia8674 I remember looking into for my buddies 14’ Shelby. It’ll be good for one hit then you have to cruise for a bit to let it cool down again then make another hit. For my HP level it’ll work great, for higher HP levels icebox may be the only way to go

You can go with a squared setup. I plan on drag racing the truck so the 20x7 can be used as a skinny.

The Whipple is probably the best blower ever as far as heat soak is concerned. Imagine how bad it’d be if it was an older style blower.

Not for a supercharger it runs at a 10:1 ratio compared to 93 which runs 14:1 meaning you need more fuel pump, injector and a tune

If you’re going to keep it for a long time then modify it. Plan your build and don’t deviate from it, at the end of the day our toys are depreciating assets. I would stick to cosmetic mods and keep the reliability of your vehicle
