Honestly a damn good “sleeper” build, no one expected a leveled truck on Grap’s to be a mid 10 second truck.

The wolf will be back as well very very soon.
I’ve got a very similar build to yours. Only thing I can see missing is a raptor steering with paddle shifters. I’ve got the lariat high package and it was plug and play. No extra wiring needed for the paddles to work. Makes it much more fun to drive.
This 150 is what brought me to your channel a couple years ago. Been following along this build. This is what we viewers look for, real builds that are functional. I would love to have my 150 built like the Hammer!!!

One of my favorite trucks ever. I'm in the market for an F150 and I'm unsure on what engine to go with. Thought about the Powerboost or the regular 3.5. But now the 5.0 has me thinking lol
I really like the wrap, I've seen this around town and it's awesome in person. Glad to see the Hammer back! I went with the Falcon Shocks after watching Sam's review on them for towing. Best upgrade I've done so far on my truck

So good! Anyway to bypass the toggle over to sport mode everytime you start up? Also have to fully turn off traction control everytime. I just went from a 3.625 to 3.5 pulley... it's insane... the best is taking dumps on most EVs

Roughly a full second in the quarter. You can definitely feel the difference.
My goals with my new 23 I just bought..reg cab short bed.. I seen where the omega tune they do compensates for all fuel, any reason you didnt do that?

Forced induction is different. Too many variables to allow for any fuel on the same tune.

Have you guys had any noise issues with that 5.0L?? Just coming out of a 2019 and it sounds like a diesel. Rattles. Knocks. Pings.. Time to get a 2024 but dunno about the newer 5.0L like you have so how is it for general noise??!!
@BackroadDriver
2 ай бұрын
Nah, I can't hear any engine noises that are out of the ordinary. That being said this truck is modified so it makes lots of different noises. You might try running a thicker oil. 5w40 wouldn't be a bad choice on a stock coyote. A lot of people say that the noise is caused by the high pressure fuel pump.
Y’all should sit in a 24 lariat… and feel how much softer the seats are. They look almost exactly the same but the seats are 5x softer…

Would you recommend doing the XR-1 muffler you did? I currently have Corsa Sport with the res delete, and getting LTH catless headers installed and i know its going to be too loud.
@BackroadDriver
Ай бұрын
Throw on the headers and see what you think. If it's too loud I would move to the xr1 400115. You will likely need a bullet muffler to go with it after it breaks in. I tried everything and this setup works.
@aircombatcom355

Ok thank for the reply. How loud is it 1-10 on cold start and normal driving? Whats the part number for the 2nd muffler? Thanks for the help. Im in an hoa and dont want to be too crazy loud.

Stock crank can handle this hp? Or stock trans? Of cource u have build trans. All parts for this truck.. how much?
@BackroadDriver
Ай бұрын
The stock crank is good to 1000 at least. Stock trans are know to fail on stock hp though. I've built this truck over a 3 year period. Prices have went up on everything. It would take 25-30k for everything on this truck today I'm guessing.
Got it built tran
As a Ford guy who has a TRX, this truck is stunning...what's the ball park cost invested?

What size pulley are you running for your highest RWHP? 3.5? 3.25?
@BackroadDriver
2 ай бұрын
The smallest pulley I'm running is a 3.5. I could go lower with the fuel system but I don't see the point. I'm not trying to squeeze every bit of power I can out of this build. Besides with a level and off-road tires it probably wouldn't put it down. It's already a handful on e85.

@BackroadDriver

You don't need any tuning to go catless. You will have p0420 and p0430 codes. Neither will affect the truck's performance. You can try using defoulers if you want but they are not required.
Not a race truck eh? Probably can compete with most race cars!
