Sounds good overall. SOmetimes seems like maybe a bit more obvious that its software then the PC version, but not definitively. Sure sounds WAY better then playing from samples. Thanks for taking the time for this

Didn't know about these, so thanks for the heads-up. By the way, have you had the chance to compare them to the geoshred versions? I suppose these have more customization options, but geoshred may have and advantage because of how it works, unless the sound quality actually changes. It would be great to now your opinion. I was planing to get the geo packs but now I'm not sure anymore.

How do you connect the keyboard to swam on iOS? That's the only thing I need to know.

Hi bro I had a problem the plugin which shows (expression controller not received please move you your expression controller ) Im using ( studio one 5 ) can you plz help me to fix this..?

One thing i always do with these swam strings is putting some convolution reverb on them (i personally use fab filter pro R) Just a little bit of that (small room reverb) makes these so much more natural Giving them some width and body with a tiny little decay that sounds unbelievably realistic to me

That sounds really good. I would be interested to hear your take on the instruments made by Samplemodeling. There is also another one out there called infinite brass, which uses very similar expressive capabilities. It is so awesome living in an age of technology where more and more super realistic instruments are coming out with articulations you couldn't dream of doing so accurately even 5 years ago. Keep up the good work.

I've been waiting 30+ years for these times to be here. I hope my creativity is still in there somewhere.

One thing about unannounced chats is that, once it's been posted, it's no longer live, of course. So, a listener who is late to the chat may not be sure if it's live or not, especially if there is nothing on-screen to indicate that it is live. Not that this is a problem, as it just means I'm not missing anything. The whole chat will be there.

Hello Ruben, thanks for your explanation. Today I bought Swam strings for Windows. I have a question though. The pizzicati on the cello sound very dry compared to the bowed sound. Do you know the reason? I just used the standard settings with cc12 for pizzicati.

Naturally, the pizzicato will sound more damp than the bow, but you can go into the Timbre menu and increase string resonance. It should help a little. But this may affect the bow sound as well. It's also depended on the cello you use. I find the Cremona has the most resonance, but not by much.

Yes, using a midi to usb cable, but you’ll need some type of usb hub connected so you can have audio go out.

What you recorded is definitely iPad output, with the SWAM instrument.

For saxophones and flutes swam sounds not bad, but other instruments transitions sounds plastic, fake. For trumpet i prefer Birth on the trumpet , acoustic samples V Horns, for violin Joshua Bell or Bohemian Violin :)

The old one was better-sounding in my opinion, the new one has improved the playability but the sound is too plasticy The older one was warmer and more natural of course
