Certainly sounds gorgeous, and so many patches.

This sounds! I have the Stradivari, the Amati, Auddict -virt. Violin, SimpleSamSamples´Paganini....but the Emotional is my favourite, like the other Emotionals in the serie: Cello and Viola. It´s best investet.

Also, do I hear some phasing in this library? I know it's hard to avoid phasing in Solo Instrument libraries when you crossfade between multiple dynamics, but am I really hearing phasing in this library?

Emotional Violin and Joshua Bell Violin are, in my opinion, the best-sampled solo violins till date. I have heard the Bohemian Violin is good too, but I have not heard it and cannot vouch for it :-)

Great instrument!! used it for some royalty free music tracks. Very easy to use and one can obtain rapidly any desired tone..

Great Demo of the instruments - gives a very good impression of the product. (BTW - I thinkyou should have try to use some chords when tried the specials: Morbid Sustains - it is amazing)

Don, How does this measure up against the Joshua Bell violin library? If you had to pick one, do you like one better than the other? It's always hard to tell from demos. I think they both sound good, but have not had a chance to try them.

I would ick Joshua Bell Violin for its tone. Just unbeatable. But, Emotional VIolin comes with a lot of special patches which are amazing to create atmospheres and pads and stuff. Joshua Bell Violin I believe is a bit more versatile in style. If you are gonna write pop music and stuff like that, I reckon Emotional Violin will do that trick. If you are mocking up Classical Baroque pieces or film scores, maybe the Joshua Bell Violin will be the best option. Of course both of them are amazing and I would suggest getting both if possible :-)

can you show us or talk about qataz audio? at the moment they have a bundle for 20usd, but I don't know how good they are

I just installed Emotional Cello. With the volume set to maximum, the volume output is very low compared to all other VST instruments. It is about 1/8 the level of Omnisphere, Ravenscroft piano, Miroslav Philharmonik2, and other Kontakt voices. I have to drop the master volume levels on al my other VST instruments way down to be able to hear the cello in any mix. Anyone know a way to boost its output level?

Add a gain amplifier plugin (any EQ should do) to that track. If one is not enough, add multiple instances on top of one another

how much money i need

I purchased Emotional Violin yesterday and have been playing with it.(Love the sounds.) However, I have noticed that notes repeat at almost random times when playing. For example after holding a note for a period of time (say 2/3 seconds) the note repeats as I hold the key down. I was playing the 'Slow and Passionate' patch and the note repeated within a second after I pressed the key. It is inconsistent in that it may repeat almost immediately or after a longer period of time depending upon what I am playing. I have never experienced this with other libraries. I don't want notes to repeat when I hold down a key. The samples appear to be re-triggering. After investigation it appears that it is my NI S88 keyboard that has aftertouch (which cannot be shut off) The aftertouch is sending additional MIDI signals that EV does not seem to be able to handle so it just re-triggers the same sample. Has anyone else experienced this?

Isnt it a solo instrument? Cant hold the same note forever, bow has to move up and down.

Wow. I’m really torn.. I love the live playability approach of the spitfire virtuoso violin, but sound wise, overall, I really like the Chris Hein solo strings, but unfortunately now, there’s this as well as the emotional cello. I wonder if I can cover mist of the bases with these two. They sound really great, and they seem to have very nice scripts.
