UPSC ki exam Dena hoti hai ma'am. Aap ko graduate hona zaroori hai. Exam ke 3 stage hote hai- preliminary, secondary,aur interview. Almost 1 year lagta hai ye sab hote hote. Agar aapne teeno clear kar liye,aur aap ka UPSC rank top 200-300 Mai hai,toh aap IPS ke liye eligible ban sakti Hain. Fir aap ko academy le jaya jayega aur waha training hogi.UPSC ki website pe sab diya hai kaise apply karna. I hope this helps.

first of all go through Upsc site read about nature of civil services exam and its syllabus... then start with Ncert books of all subject from class 6th to 12 th.

Laughable training when compared to training imparted to Army officers. IPS officer should be instructed at inspector level at a younger age and training should be prolonged to 4 years as Armed forces officers train 3 years in NDA and 1 year in IMA.

Singh ips is more admistrative work as compared to army.... they don’t need such level of fitness as army does... it’s more related to mental strength (intelligence) rather than physical...

Both the forces are extremely special. I love both of them. You shouldn't compare them. We need both of them. Without knowing what both of them go through commenting, doesn't make sense. Any individual at the max would have gone through only one of those training or neither, so you can't say one is very easy and the other ridiculously tough. I would say both are tough.
