I know this is probably a wild stab in the dark but do you have an episode announcing the winner of a competition (I'm certain it was for a Game Boy and Sensible Soccer, I entered and was one of the runners-up and got a subuteo set. It was amazing to see my name appear on the show, just before Marco Van Basten came on. It would have been around 93/94. Needle in a haystack I know but if you've stumbled across it, it would something else. I was about 11 then. Thanks for the memories!

This date 12th Feb - is before Milan's thrashing of Barcelona - shame Parma lost against Arsenal in their final and Inter won the Uefa cup and yes Italy lost the final of the W/C I was upset for three whole days ......

lol - I remember transworld sport being on before G.F.I on saturday mornings - then the big game on Sunday and mezzanotte on Sunday and tuesday nights -- good days ....I was in my teens living at home in a lovely part of Suffolk. Although born and bred in the UK my parents are Italian and I consider myself to be too ...I used to watch all the Euro games too for years on RAI by satellite tv - great days .....I would also watch 90 minuto the highlights show on rai1 at 5pm and the night show domenica sprint and domenica sportiva.......as an AC Milan fan since 87 I cannot tell you the whole Milan team of today.....but hey...Italy won the last euros and maybe just maybe will win again this year ....also I still route Italian teams in Europe even though Seria a and Italian football is not what it was - Italy needs a Champions league this year - the euros and the world cup in 2026 - wouldnt that be nice !! However I still love watching older clips full games of the late 80's and 90's of seria a and euro cups - the other day I watched Roma Brondby 1991 semi final uefa cup !! remember watching it at my grandparents who also had Italian tv at that time.....golden days !!!! I we used to drive Mum crazy over football back in the day and our main meal on a Sunday was Sunday lunch - lovely Italian food endless courses but we kids would want to eat quick so we could be in front of the tv for 1.45 as we didnt want to miss a second of James Richardson and co !!
