I can tell 100% that, all the Nagas have their own history to be told which pass from generation to generation. None of our Nagas (any tribes) doesn't want to take away even the inches of land from the hands of the intruders. Likewise, no one can give their land to some who is coming from outside and claiming that this land belong to his/her when there is an owner who is taking care of land and protect them from being beheaded from the enemies. What I mean is, looking after them n letting them to become young and matured. By doing so, they take advantage and try to fight back to the one who guard their life. If so, the owner have right to do anything instead of slighting back.

To properly understand the said issue regarding the earliest known history of the settlement of people and the origin of the word that is now known inadvertently or anglicised term called as ‘Shamator', it is pertinent that we do not forget the history of where we came from hence that we may never forget our roots and worst of all misinterpret one's own trace of history, let alone the indifference caused among the people that were once of same brothers and of the same descend. To make a long story short, the origin and literal meaning of the now called ‘Shamator' is of the Yimkhiung terminology, “Sang” meaning “Wood” and“mutung”meaning “to keep or arranged upright”, it is the canonization of a settlement in a land or a place laid to establish with the woods being arrayed upright. However, the multiple known usage of the nomenclature such as ‘Mukhiuk tung’, ‘Mihnu Ku Zhin’, ‘Sang Mutung’, etc,is all a terminology of Langa dialect, one of Yimkhiung's six dialects and was all used to refer to one and the same place, by Yimkhiung communities and villages, and hence should not be considered an evidence of contradiction or presupposes to the fact as to who the earliest settlers of the land was or hunting grounds and whose vast bountiful fields was being donated for establishment of Government headquarter.

Yimkhiung provided tikhir (a sub-tribe of yimkhiung) a land to establish village considering as a brothers and now tikhir wants to take away the land by seperating from yimkhiung tribe...thats not easy to do like that..we demand shamator for a district for all of us so whats the problem with tikhir people?

Whatever goods Tikhir have Yimkhiung will surely trying to snatch.🤣🤣 If we eat Meat they will come and snatch. If Tikhir have good land they will try to take away.. What happen to Yimkhiung? At least we know what is good and bad..As if they have won the universe.. Shame on neighbouring tribes.

I wish to see Yimkhiung and Tikhir people united as brothers as we were in the past I don't side for any of Yimkhiung or Tikhir but I side for both the people May Yimkhiung and Tikhir live in peace one day
