YIMKHIUNG TRIBAL COUNCIL’S AGITATION FOR SHAMATOR DISTRICT ENTERS DAY 5
Agitation by Yimkhiung Tribal Council, seeking a full fledged Shamator district enters day 5 in all the administrative headquarters of Yimkhiung inhabited areas on Friday. Thousands of protestors went on to the streets demanding immediate declaration of Shamator district while the protestors, clad in traditional attire, marched through the town holding placards and raising slogans. a brief program was held at Pungro, Shamator and Chessore where all the speakers reiterated demand for Shamator district and further made a fervent appeal to fulfil the long-felt aspiration of Yimkhiungs to live under one unified Yimkhiung district i.e Shamator. Notably, day five of the agitation for Shamator district demand was held under the aegis of Yimkhiung Women Organization

@@romanlemsnaga1685 this is a childish explanations... bro people will laugh at us when you termed/breakdown the word "Yimkhiung" in this manner, especially other tribes. At least try to come up with simply yet precise elaboration, in short Yimkhiung means a collection of people(namely, Langa, Makury, Chirr, Longpher and Phunonger) who shared different sub-language but living together as oneness despite their differences. P.S: I excluded Tikhir (above the 5 mentioned sub-language) as you all know what they're up to.
