    Problem is people buy bikes just to satisfy their eyes not their purpose. Engine reliability, after sale service, maintenance and spear parts cost, smooth riding experience, riding stance and mileage are few points that must be considered before buying a bike and the most important is your purpose of purchase. Every bike is great only if it solve youre purpose.

  • @FTRClub

    @FTRClub

    It won’t be a very satisfying project build & that’s primarily due to the power delivery which is linear. For an Adv project build, what you will need is an engine which reacts immediately with the inputs from your right wrist. VStrom SX is a brilliant little machine, but it doesn’t establish that connection, if you are an experienced rider who’s been riding more responsive and powerful machines. At least that was the case with me. But yeah, there’s a lot more to riding bikes than just adrenaline rush.

    Short and Sweet Comparison of similarly priced bikes. Given the tire profiles are same, can the alloy wheel setup be made in Scram 411 if off roaring is not a priority.Tubed tyres are always an issue and still there are no official alloy accessories from RE for Scram 411.

  • @FTRClub

    @FTRClub

    2 жыл бұрын

    It’s possible but there are multiple factors to be considered, most important of which is the wheel-hub and disc plates that are mounted. Even if we get the appropriate alloy wheels, it still needs to be done by an expert. Moreover, the main question that arises is the integrity and strength of the alloys to carry the weight of the bike along with the rider and luggage and/or passenger.

    Well, honestly Suzuki feels terrible off the road due to limited suspension travel. A slightly more experience rider, will get frustrated with the suspension bottoming out all the time. For city, yes it's better than the KTM, but it doesn't stand a chance against KTM when you decide to go off-road. Wishing you and your family a very happy new year 2023.🥳

    Suzuki has few advantage over scram 1- Mileage - 40+ ( if ridden near 50-60kmph) Reason - Because it has the same engine of Gixer 250 2- Low service pricing 3- Top speed is around 150kmph with 110-120kmph cruising speed 4 - Suzuki engine > Enfield any day Blindly 5- Better instrument cluster But suzuki vstorm feels like a little over prices it should have been around 2.3Lacs on road.

  • @FTRClub

    @FTRClub

    I agree with you, brother. The reason I didn’t talk about the fuel economy is that people have different riding styles. I for one am on the aggressive side. The VStrom might not return same fuel economy as Gixxer due the extra weight the VStrom is carrying. But that engine on Suzuki is so smooth even towards redline and riders usually love to revv it. But yeah cruising at 110-120 (which is effortless for the Suzuki) will definitely bring the fuel economy numbers down significantly. Price perspective, it is definitely priced high. But considering the kind of package you are getting with and then comparing it the rivals, the premium seems justified. Again, sadly the taxes are so exorbitantly high in KA, that the Suzuki is at 2.75 Lakhs on-road in Bangalore, which is quite a premium.

    I am really sorry to know about your experience. Usually here in India, we (not Enfield fanboys) refrain from buying any new product of Enfield that’s manufactured in the 1st bunch or the production. It’s always ideal to get an Enfield bike from the 3rd iteration onwards as the 1st and 2nd usually have tons of issues. Himalayan however is quite a tried and tested product, perhaps they have messed up a specific set of bikes from a specific production line. What surprises me the most is that they don’t have an official dealer/service in Dublin, due to which customers like you end up trashing so much money, trusting the brand. 😔
