SUZUKI TU250X EXHAUST MOD: Emgo Cafe muffler on the TU250X // Slip on exhaust motorcycle sounds

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Listen to the sweet sounds of a Suzuki TU250X exhaust when it’s outfitted with an Emgo Cafe muffler. Swapping out the stock exhaust for this aftermarket slip on exhaust completely transforms the sound of the TU250X. Hear the Emgo muffler in action to see what I mean!
You’ll even hear what this same Emgo Cafe muffler sound like on a Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 - for comparison- and it sounds a lot different from the Suzuki TU250X.
I bought the Emgo Cafe muffler from a local motorcycle shop, but they’re also available online. If you’re interested in making this purchase for yourself, check out the link below.

Was thinking thre same thing . The main issue with making it into a brat is the minimal clearance from the seat end over the tire. Because of this 2 up looks improbable but I'm still trying to figure it out.

The exhaust mod sounds good on the 'lil bike. But the transitions and entro really brought a smile to my face as I was nicknamed after an old silent movie cowboy actor Hoot Gibson. Before Roy Rogers, Gene Autry and John Wayne, Hoot and Tim Mix ruled the Saturday matinee. I just got a 2013 TUX 2 weeks ago. I'm not a beginner (I have a couple of liter bikes already), but just love classic looking bikes. I subbed. On your Emgo muffler, do you have a removable baffle (aka decibel killer)? I think mine is an Emgo (not yet installed), but I can see right through it - seems to be too much air flow. Thanks!

Test rode a few Triumph's and while they're great, I think the TU250x is the perfect city commuter for me. I have a soft spot for low displacement, light and flickable bikes so I'll keep an eye out for this Suzuki! Ride safe ✌️

The tux really is a good looking retro classic. I have a 650 interceptor and an adv but it's the tu that gets endless attention as a minimalist runnabout or stock. Being black, w/o the passenger seat it looks like a Bonney. The stripped down look has both fenders removed. A black aluminum carrier trimmed in honey stained yellow cedar strips is bolted to the rear outrigger. Takes about an hour to go from stock to brat. I kept the stock saddle and exhaust. Out of the 3 bikes it's by far the coolest looking imo. Now if only it had more power and was a little taller.. 😄

I think Suzuki don’t make huge batches of this model (not sure how supply is like in the US), but here in the UK I’ve recently been looking around and they don’t seem to be as readily available (even second hand) as some other bikes. I wonder if that’s because this is quite a niche bike - I.e low displacement aimed for the new rider (like me lol) or those that enjoy the fun of small engined bikes for their ‘flick ability’ and of course the looks. Growing up in the 1970s/1980s this reminds me of certain bikes from that era 😍

@@RideYEG mate I soooo agree re the rear breaks…I mean come on, I get it’s not a fast MotoGP bike but why leave that off? Also what’s with not putting on a fuel gauge? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ If this bike is aimed at newbies, (based on its size, engine capacity, speed etc) why on earth would they leave out a gauge to show how much fuel you have left lol…what are us newbies supposed to do, use telepathy? 🤦‍♂️🤣

@@friktionrc Agreed. I feel like Suzuki is a bit slower to adapt than other brands (Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki) because those other brands have evolved their small cc bikes. If Suzuki had modern features with the look of the TU it would sell heavily

They will definately run lean when you change out the stock pipe. Always up your main jet so it will not overheat under heavy load. I had 3 gn 250's and I have a modified gz250 all with the same engine.. a podfilter is an even bigger reason to change the jetting, but you will get some noticable powergains if you combine the two.

This is actually the same exhaust that I had in the Totchos video. I’ve had this muffler on the bike for a few years now. Maybe it sounds different here because I have the camera up close and personal with the muffler? That’s what’s so cool about bike mods is that you can make them your own. As far as chrome goes, I do love that look too! Thanks for watching.
