"It doesn't feel like I'm riding a car" that is one of the best explanations of why I adore light motorcycles. Most modern motorcycles seem to be targeted at SUV owners. You can get a fast SUV, but it's still a giant heavy ass truck. Totally the opposite of what I'm looking for in a motorcycle. Good review.
I actually don't hear this very often in American videos - 'I bought a bike I could afford with cash" - sure its conservative, but it really suits your purpose. Great bike - id love to try one.
Good review, I agree. 5 more HP and this would be perfect. Just make this a 350cc bike and life would be good
I just found this video and the side banter is fire, haha. Thanks for the review
Thank you for this review. Very helpful as I'm considering this for my first bike.
Loved both your videos on this bike! Basically sold me on the TU250X as my first motorcycle. Thanks!
hi, simon from england here. thanks for your oil change vid. i'm off to buy a 1999 tu 250x next week. i love the look of them. he's asking $362 !!. he bought it last year to do up, but he has too many projects. wish me luck !!
Bought a 2019 version of this a month ago. Fucking love it! Perfect for me, 5'11 140lbs. Great first bike.
Great review! Just got a 2012 one as my first bike with 239 miles on it for a steal. Cant wait to learn to ride it
Hey everybody has a camera on them now days. its natural to see people with cameras. enjoyed the ride.
Couldn't agree more with your review of the Tux. I have similar feelings.
A retro with a fuel injection. Awesome!
Great video. Well done.
Great review. The price / quality is hard to ignore, even if it may be under powered. For a guy like me (new rider) it would be a great first bike, even though I have some crazy ideas (like doing a N - S trip along the Mississippi River), (off highway of course).
I saw a 2015 model of this today for 3,900 dollars brand new. Not even a mile on it yet. I'm 5'10" 144 pounds and I'm like you, I think it's the perfect size.
came for the bike stayed for the asmr
apparently if you remove the 2nd throttle body you can add 10 mph and break 80 on flats pretty easy.
One thing id like my tu250 to have is and as trivial as it may sound is;the signal light icon is too
Being 6-2 210lbs, this was the review that made me go for a bigger bike, a 650 Interceptor. When you said if I could change one thing.. an xtra 5hp, maybe 10.. 15.. what the hell, an xtra 25hp might be even better lol. I later bought a 2016 TU for my wife but she decided she'd rather ride on the back of the 650. Too little invested to bother selling the TU.. it's a fun little bike to blast around on. It'll be my mobility scooter. 😆
Love your videos. You were the "seal the deal" for me to get my 2009. I MUST have the mirror extenders. Where did you get them? easy self install?
