You didn't cut the bike down, pointed out limitations and lifted it up for its abilities. Great job.

Thanks man. Really appreciate it.
Picked up a 2018 one with 4k on the clock and it's just like new. Wife is learning to ride and she loves it. I find it very relaxing to cruise around on - really does put a grin on your face. Great addition to the family
Just buyd one second hand today Always had sports bikes, never looked at little cruisers but man after a few hours riding around town I'm in love

Awesome review mate
We indians want suzuki tu250x here in India. Suzuki please launch this bike in India.
Spot on, love mine.
Fantastic vid! Cheers from Brooklyn NY. TU was my first bike. I went to a Sporty, then to a Bonnie. Sold her last year, got tired of wrestling her around the big bad city. Now I'm bikeless and feeling more old-lady-ish about wrangling 500lb bikes. Might have to revisit the TU, as long as I stay clear of the highway and 18 wheelers. I came across your video and you have me all excited; in an old-lady kinda way.

The TU is a fantastic bike for somewhere like Brooklyn. Light and so east to throw around. I'm returning to Melbourne later this year and I'm already looking at used ones! Thanks so much for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

You know what else puts a huge smile on your face? This fantastic review! I'm watching it for the second time now having today bought a chinese copy of this machine with 500km on the clock. For £995! Only thing, this is northern Scotland I'm in, not Queensland. Hey ho, better wrap up warm...

Not a country bike, for sure. If they made a 500cc version I'd have one in the morning.
Presumably Suzuki took a number, 250, and built a bike around it. Simple strategies wear well. Also, being smaller than Kawa or Honda it is very smart to have a goodwill bike with which to keep maturing customers.
Looks a great little city commuter bike and the engine will be bulletproof! :-) Haha, that trailer at the end! :D WTF??? :D

TY for that video. Wonder if you might do a quick owner's manual review? My used TU did not come with one and I cannot find one on internet. Just need basic maintenance info. Adjust chain; change oil etc.
My first bike. I loved that thing. It's not much fun above 55 mph, but below that it's a gas.

Yeah I remember trucks pushing my little TU around on the highway. I got it over 110 kmh with a 16 tooth sprocket. But really, it was its speed off the line in the city, ease of filtering, and ability to be parked perpendicular to curbs between two vehicles that made it great. I parked it behind dumpsters and other weird places. Really though, I did a lot of twisty countryside riding at 50-80 kmh and it was great fun. Fuel injection means it starts every time. I chose the TU over an old CB350 and I made the right choice. My only regret is giving it up for a Bonnie, I should have kept it and turned it into a cafe racer.

Rhombus Labs I’m about to do exactly that - I have a Triumph Street Twin right now and a street-legal Honda CT70...going to buy a TU250X in two days and make it into a cafe racer. Keeping the Street Twin for now and selling the CT70. I’m a disabled veteran and it’s getting difficult to move the Triumph around in parking lots anymore with my short inseam. I manage ok, but I’m injured to the point I can’t lift it anymore if my knee gives out and it falls. Should be a lot better with the 250. @Paddy Outback You sound a bit like John Shuttleworth...lol. Haha, test-ride roulette is pretty cool! Was going to say it's a bit small for you alright! Saw your Simpsons reference on Facebook already! Brilliant! Your keys & phone were giving me a panic attack at 07:20 by the way! Are they secured in anyway or hanging out? :O Nice little test ride though man! Great point about small bikes being good craic! I still miss the auld Super Four at times but sure look. We all grow tired at some stage. The fact the TU 250 has a 12L tank and my MT only has a 14L doesn't annoy me at ALL BY THE WAY...
@PaddyOutback

It was my key and garage remote and they were stuck on with a carabiner. No worries there! It's mad craic gowling around town on a little bike alright. Love doing it. Just to rub it in, the Vstrom has a 20l tank. That's 450km a tank!

This bike looks amazing. Sound is amazing. Its small so usage is low. I love that. But 120km/h is too slow for me. Here rhe highways are max 130km/h. The motor should at least make 140km/h. Preferably 150. You have any recommandations that look a like?

@@PaddyOutback My Nightster-riding best friend calls my TU 'the sewing machine' 🤣
I am looking for a used clean TU 250. When I find one over the past three years, the owner either wants about $I000.dollars less than a new one is, or it is a crashed/neglected rat. The trouble with buying a used one that is just $1000 less than a new one. By the time you put a new set of tires, a new battery, change the oil, air filter, new grips, now you’re only about $400 less.. I am in love with the styling of the TU 250.I don’t always wanna go for a ride on my Goldwing or my Moto Guzzi Norge..I want one of these bikes. It’s the only small machine on the market I am even interested in..

@@PaddyOutback actually there will be lon freeways going upto 110km. i do free riding generally from Melbourne's CBD to country. Some people changed its sprocket. have you heard about it. importantly, thank you for quick reply :-)
Nice review but you came from a cruiser motorbike so you can't pretend that that 250cc made for being durable and economic could satisfy your likes. In Victoria it's still a good ride on the freeways at 90Km/h since the max speed often is 100Km/h. Sadly Suzuki stopped the production of this gem and I was lucky to get one, 24 months warranty who else gives you that?
