The fit is a bit of a challenge, the two halves of the body are a tight fit over the frame and you need four hands to get the wings on, although it would have been easier if I'd glued the supports to one wing and then lined them up to press onto the other wing. It does look good once it's together. And the figure can be painted with acrylic paint.

This is a really cool looking kit. The idea of doing a half and half is a neat idea. I’ll definitely be watching! 😀👍🏻

Thanks Steven, it was a bit tricky to put together but turned out ok.

It builds up nice Steve, the decals were very good, 😎👍

Sounds like you are familiar with this kit Tom. I had a few issues trying to press the two halves of the body together and attaching the wings, a couple of the decals tore and they slid around a lot before the glue set.

@@ModelCarMinion I didn't have any issues that I recall, it had just been released when I got it, so decals was new, 😎👍

Looking terrific Steve. Great work on the wood parts. I've got the Sopwith Camel (with Brownie the dog), so when I build that, you can come over and we can have dog fights. 😁

It's quite a bit bigger than an egg plane. 🙂
