the hair style was called a bee hive and was somewhat popular in the late 50's and early 60's.

The baby and very little girl are Angelina's cousins - the preteen girl is Angelina's sister Juliette and the Piano Player is Rob Christie Director of the Republic Records Los Angeles Studio which is the record label that Angelina has been signed with since she was 14 years old.

Angelina will be in concert February 29 in Las Vegas at the Westgate Resort.

She is amazing, and I really do believe she has a heart of gold! She is a very impressive artist.

Angelina was once asked in an interview if she felt her age, 12 at the time. After a pause, she replied "Only when I look at my passport." I believe that age has no meaning for her and she does not let it set boundaries. She is totally devoted to the music she loves and the creation of it.

Nice reaction! Her Grandma, Mery Zamani, helped produced this. She used the same store (Melrose Gallery in L.A.) she used for her My Funny Valentine and I Have Nothing videos. Her sister Juliette was the older girl and the 2 younger girls are her Uncle Mike's kids, Aires and Athena. 2- time Grammy winner Rob Christie is on piano once again. He is also the music director of Republic Records, the music company she is signed with. The beehive hairstyle was to honor Priscilla Presley and the time period she met Elvis. The song was written by Mark James, an American singer/songwriter, who recorded it the year it was written. The best known version, however, was that done by Elvis Presley. It was his last No 1 song. In the Wikipedia entry of the origins of the song, Mark James is said to have remarked "That late one night, he was fooling around on his Fender guitar and using his Hammond organ pedals for a bass line and came up with what he thought was a catchy melody. At the time, he was married to his first wife but still had feelings for his childhood sweetheart, who was married back in Houston. James's wife had suspicions about his feelings. He felt it was a confusing time for him and that all three were "caught in this trap that they could not walk out of." Other singers covering this song invariably base their performance on that of Elvis, in that it is very "upbeat". Angelina took a very different path in that she read and understood the lyrics and what Mark James intended when writing them . To my mind, her rendition is much truer to the emotions of the song. The children appearing in the video were Angelina's cousins Aries (first) and then Athena - daughters of her uncle Michael Astar, and then her sister Juliette. I would hazard a guess that they were included to emphasise that children are very important to Angelina and her family. Confession! I have never been a great fan of Elvis Presley, although I do like some of his earlier recordings, and I had never heard of the song "Suspicious minds" but knew that Angelina would completely take ownership of it, and she did. It was beautiful. After listening to it several times, I decided to download the lyrics to see whether she kept to the original structure. She didn't, and the song is all the better for it. For me, that she started with the Bridge of the song is very significant and, I feel, very indicative of Angelina's "up front" transparency. She was declaring that it was important that their love did not die, and then carries on to say why she feels as she does. Others first say how they feel and then, almost as an afterthought, assure their love they don't want it to end. For me, it is whether I feel the singer is genuine about the situation and wishes it could be resolved or whether the singer understands the situation but thinks the blame is on her/his partner but feels the need to assure them they don't want it to end (until somebody else comes along).

Power & Pure Velvet Perfection! This vocal arrangement was all Angelina, I have no doubt in collaboration with a stellar team including Rob Christie & Mery Zamani her Grandmother. She is a Master Storyteller. The video is shot in the same Antique Store that she did 'My Funny Valentine' on Valentine’s Day. I believe it is in LA near her home. I believe the girls in the video represent Angelina's Journey from infancy to present through the classics of music history. Thus the Antique store, She grew up studying and performing these classics. That is Rob Christie on piano. Sister Juliette and a couple of Uncle Michael's Babies. I think that makes them cousins not nieces. Full Black Leather Bodysuit, the guitar from his concert in 68 and the hair a homage to Priscilla Presley. Yeah! She can bring tears to your eyes. I base my interpretation on my knowledge of Angelina's journey from an 18 month old little girl singing a "classic" of music history 'I Will Always Love You' . She has been listening to these classics on repeat on YOUTube since then under the guidance and inspiration of her Grandmother Mery Zamani. She has been performing these classics since her first time in studio at 6 yrs old.. She has continued this journey through her 1st introduction to the world with her "Classic'" 'Gloomy Sunday’ and following with her many performances at her many Jazz Festivals, TV performances, Concerts, and charity events, studio recordings and practice sessions at home accompanied or not. The location in the Antique store represents these classics (like the furniture) of another era. To me she portrays wonder at all these classics surrounding her. as she has travelled this road. Her tribute to Elvis is at her present age, today, each stage represented by her cousins and sister and ending with Angelina herself on the couch still admiring all this history surrounding her. Elvis performed this on TV in 1969 during his "Come Back" concert. Angelina's hair, leather boots and pants: Priscilla Presley. The red guitar, Elvis borrowed it from a member of his back-up band because it matched his red costume. Notice Rob Christie's red outfit at the piano. He is the Director of Studio Production for Republic Records and a Grammy winner himself. He has accompanied Angelina for several years now. No accident she is signed with Republic as he is a friend to Angelina and her family from their first meeting. This was done when the Elvis Presley Documentary/Movie, with Tom Hanks as his manager and Austin Butler as Elvis, was released in the summer of 2022. Later in the day, Angelina sang a gorgeous version of Whitney Houston's, "I Have Nothing." Angelina is the greatest female vocalist to ever live. She is incomparable. There has never been another with her combination of talents. She is a gift to us all. English is her third language of 4. She has always arranged her own music and keeps that ability in her contract with Republic now.

The semi hollow instrument is a highlight of Kruse GWS Auctions’ Artifacts of Hollywood & Music auction, which begins on March 27. It's being offered with a starting bid of $250,000. I believe this video was released only a day or two before the film release.

My interpretation of the symbolism of this music video: First, and foremost; Angelina Jordan at 16 is the epitome of a Storytelling ARTIST, and she has the ability to take us by the hand and lead us down an imaginary path that we visualize as reality. The remarkable fact is that we experience this in each of her performances. In this video we see her as a married woman in her mid to late 20s. As the video starts out, we see dishes, and it is a symbol of a home. As AJ sings the phrase “Were caught in a trap, I can’t walk out” we see 3 small children, this to me is a marriage where the children come first.
