I don’t get why people have such a hard time swallowing the Brenda/Dawn situation but then are fine to dismiss Coach using religious manipulation a whole entire season on a literal mentally unstable person lol

Yeah, nobody ever calls out Coach for being a lunatic. Good point.

Two thoughts. 1. Brenda lowe deserves a spot. The fact that she came back and was purpled should not be held against her. What we did see was a loyal player who was a physical threat. Considering you brought Ami Cusack back when she had a similar 2nd chance. 2. You have not considered people in the past due to there inappropriate comments on race etc. As a person who works with individuals with disabilities the way that NaOnka speaks about Kelly Bruno and talks about knocking her leg off is inappropriate. She may have been playing a part, but it was still crossing a line.

I would absolutely love to see Purple Kelly back, “You get to milk your own milk, I guess” is a top 5 Survivor quote for me and talk about game changer, like, hello. We have an entire editing technique named after her. If they ever would bring her back tho they HAVE to purple her again, even if she wins. Like, how can you not?

i would love to see Fabio/Jud back for sure, i saw Chase in concert and i enjoy is songs, Sash i could do without. i wanto to see Marty back and Benry, i would love to see Jimmy Johson back, and Jimmy T and Kelly B would be cool.

Fabio would be a great returnee, and I feel a likely one too if 50 kick starts a few more returnee seasons.

Apparently Fabio did blow that million but not like wasted he like used it to help family and the like per his interviews IIRC.

This is definitely a weird one, but I think it's fair to talk about the double whammy that is the double quit. For me, there are cases where I'd be okay with seeing someone who quit again, such as Jenna M., MGM, and Purple Kelly. A lot of my willingness is more on reasons such as medical reasons (no matter if it's the player or their family) or failures on the part of production to prevent the risks of quitting. However, quitters like Naonka frankly made their bed in my eyes and shouldn't have another chance no matter how much they want to

I am glad you didn't put Brenda through. The ugly Caramoan finale still really leaves a sour taste in my mouth over a decade later. I am truly baffled by your enthusiasm for Na'Onka but fair enough. To each their own.

To clarify after watching - Purple Kelly was screwed over by production with the outfits, was running the game according to post people post season, and then on top of that was completely edited out - all whilst remaining a decent human being. She's also literally the biggest name on this season due to said treatment - people who're fans of other reality shows know what being Purpled is. Na'Onka was slightly screwed over by production but not nearly as much, was a goat in the game, was still in the edit due to making for good tv - and was a nasty human being the entire time. There's people that are even better tv that are actual decent human beings. I don't want Na'Onka back and I can't see production bringing her back due to how she treated the staff and other contestants. Also 100% the reasons for not including Brenda are SO dumb - you considered Corrinne (even if you didn't put her on the ballot either) but eliminated Brenda from contention right away? She has a pretty good chance of coming back compared to most of the people on this season and you glossed over her. Like you included Na'Onka who actively has issues with the show but not Brenda. I've not loved all of your decisions throughout this but they've been at least somewhat understandable - but your picks here have to be the worst ones yet aside from Fabio.

Just to clarify our POV, for me it was the combination of Brenda’s purple edit AND the negativity that made it a no-sell for me. I think someone like Corinne obviously has said terrible things, but it was clear the show and CBS wanted her back even after that. Not sure if it would be the same case with Brenda. That said, I think she’s definitely worth another glance to put on the ballot. Sorry you feel the picks were too confounding. But it wouldn’t be Survivor Nicaragua if there was questionable logic happening!

@@mikebloom1396 That's fair - I still feel like she has a better relationship with production than some of the people you've put on (and a lot more memorable than a lot :p) but I don't completely blame you for not putting her on, I think it just bugged me that you put Na'Onka on but left Brenda off when they're very much parallels. And VERY true with the last paragraph, I need to steel myself and just rewatch it at somepoint despite the pain 😅

Love this list!! Is a wish list so why would you guys not put Naonka? She was the main character until she quit also love Fabio and I really want him for 50
