Randen extended an olive branch to Venus when nobody else would. He was shown to be kind and understanding even when it wouldn’t necessarily benefit him. He’s a good dude and I’m glad he got to play even though it was for just a short time.

So true, he never even got to tribal. And if bruce got to come back because he’s a silly guy who slammed his head into a log, randen should be able to come back because of this freak of nature event

this was a good interview, especially with the context of the parvati comment making a lot more sense. i like how randen was able to make amends w venus and actually work with her, shows the promise of both those players going far in the game. he seems pretty intelligent and competitive too, hope he gets another shot one day to get back on the island

From the pre season interviews, Randen was my favourite and one of my FTC picks. His quote in that interview "Sometimes quiet is move" still moves me. I really wanted him to go far so I hope the show brings him back.

Thanks Rob, that was a great exit interview. These medivacs are always painful to watch, and I loved seeing Randen's positive attitude and his insights.

so so happy to at least have this podcast and interviews because we learn so much about what was not shown in the episodes, loved to hear about the troll he pulled on soda to see if she was trustworthy, this is why every episode needs to be two hours we still don't get enough info about really important moments.

Randen was one of my picks too. Very astute, cool, calm, good sense of awareness, and very observant once he hit the beach. I liked his test on Soda and the fact that he aligned with Venus. It's too bad he had to be medevac'ed. I hope we see more of him in the future on Survivor. Also I hope his daughter threw a "first one out of the tribe" party in the loving-est way possible!

It seemed like it happened so fast and came out of nowhere how they edited it. Im glad from a game standpoint that it was a fully justified reason to be pulled because if i was in his shoes and felt better the next morning after a good nights sleep I would have been devestated. It almost felt like production was protecting Kenzie and Bhanu.

I felt terrible for randen in the moment, but I felt slightly intrigued by this medivac, because I can’t imagine how Venus moves on in the game after this, and considering how much content she is getting it’s making me think she’s gonna go far. I just have no idea how anymore

The worst part wasn't even Randen going home, it was Bhanu staying. Now we've got to watch him bawling his eyes out for at least another 90 minutes.

Wow after watching this and seeing more of Randen's personality/strategy I'm bummed we didn't get to see more of his game!

Wow, sound like if randen was not medical evacued he was tooked a total control of nami in the first vote and he and venus be a deadly duo. The preview of the episode 4 show like the efort of randen totally paid of. It a shame the medical evacuation bc Randen looks like a very good player.

Love this view! I wouldn't be so bold to say that although I appreciate the perspective, the goal was to create options just in case!

I think it would have been a great idea for Jeff to let the tribe come into council and go through all their motions and whisperings and Bhanu crying a few buckets of tears, then, instead of the usual, he says "It's......NOT time to vote. Go back to camp, you've got the night off."

Hopefully he gets a 2nd chance

I was itching to get to this channel and this video before I finished the episode, it would have been sad to see Randen go out for something that's not serious.

AU survivor gives players at least 24 hours outside the game to seek medical and if they are cleared to play again they come back. They are at a disadvantage socially but they shouldn’t be pulled immediately from the game like this and he ended up being fine
