Survivor 46 | Exit Interview with the First Player Voted Out | Survivor 46 Premiere

Ойын-сауық

Rob Cesternino interviews the first player voted out in Survivor 46, David Jelinsky.
link.chtbl.com/rhap
Jelinsky gives insight into the Sweat or Savy Challenge he did with Q, and how the quit was not just a decision Jelinksy made. Rob also asks, since Jelinsky was on record in the pre-season interviews with Mike Bloom that he watched every Survivor season 3 times, what went wrong in his gameplay to be the first person voted off of Survivor 46.

True, he wasn’t a first boot, but he was never, ever going to win with his lack of self awareness. It wasn’t (entirely) Jelensky’s lack of self awareness that led to him being booted, either. It was him giving in when the going got tough every time, and based on what the other tribe members said (according to Mike Bloom), it seems like he kept oversharing and running his mouth.

Q literally said in his interview that he didn’t think there was ever a reason to quit or throw a challenge. That’s his mindset & you can tell it’s true to who he is. Q is the type to decide not to finish once the time is almost out & he can see how much more they have left. He clearly wanted to keep going longer. David is delusional and has no self awareness. Also, he knew the challenge instructions said “several” before he decided to do it so he could’ve just asked Banu to do the sweat challenge or literally anyone who wouldn’t have given up.

SWEAT: Instructions said to fill the urns. So, at the beginning when they are empty, drag the empty container to the water front of the shore and fill it there. The rules never said they had to walk all the way down the beach to fill them ;)

Ugh 2 minutes in and my eyes hurt from rolling so much. You didn't get voted out bc youre a threat, you were voted out bc you were setting your own team on fire! I don't buy the idea that Q wanted to quit first, we all saw how quick you are to fold, and that dude's an ACTUAL threat. I hope people stop messing with you so you can do some self-reflection.

Sounds like David is being a good sport about it. Regarding the bucket with the holes during the sweat challenge - I wonder if they could have stacked the buckets together in a way that would have plugged most or all the holes that way?

Interesting idea. I too think the only solution was to find some effective way to plug holes. Maybe tear cloth off shirts and plug them?

He's a "legend" because he was so terrible at the game and so oblivious to everything. Also, I don't like that he totally threw Q under the bus.. It really didn't seem like it went down that way. I thought he might redeem himself with this interview, but no this dude is delusional.
