Useful tip, mix the tuna oil with dry clay, thenuse that as a bait paste, the oil will last longer and has more ways to be used

I always carry a single shot .22 rifle, hobo stove, stainless steel pot, wool blanket & knife in my truck 24/7. A small kids rifle is just fine. I’m not a fan of ‘truck guns’ but this is about as benign and simple as one can get. Just my way of course, I’m simple.

Instead of the magnifying glass, you should see if you can start a fire using your glasses instead. Its like the perfect backup option since you always have them.

Slingbow is definately a plus, might I suggest pemican as a fall back food source...

Would have loved to see you make a knife out of that rock.... that is sharp enough to skin a deer. Now that would be good content :). Also... would like to see the meat preservation method and whether or not it worked for you.

That slingbow would not give your arrow much cast, so the arrow speed will be a lot less than the same draw weight flat bow, but certainly good enough for survival situations.

@@mykalburley1657 Mesquite trees most definitely occur in abundance in south Texas, one could argue they are more concentrated in the south vs. west. The only place they don’t occur frequently is East Texas.

looked more like a backstrap, tender loins are pretty skinny in pigs, about an inch thick at the thickest part, for that sized pig

The problem I have with these videos and TV shows like alone and others is they are put or put themselves in a fake survival situation and wildlife get killed for it , I don't agree with it at all but that's just because I don't like killing anything for no reason.

Yeah that's the point we already kill so many animals why do it for a fake survival situation? Just demonstrate how or what to do in that situation. I'm not dogging the guy at all I just think killing these animals is bad unless absolutely necessary, my opinion so don't be a dick.
