I have a Comanche which is 63# @22 draw and trust me, you needn't pinch draw for hunting. draw it at it's max with 3 fingers, but no tab and make an extra heavy string for stability. The silence the string offers makes it just right

Small or large osage is tough bow material to work with

I live in England, do you reckon I could make one of these out of yew tree they made longbows from that. But I want to make a Comanche bow

Only one way to find out. I found some lowland pacific yew last summer and i plan on doing the same next fall. I think it'll work

Yes I'm pretty sure you could I've made English short bows outta Osage that where functionaly the same so I know it's possible and I'm in texas in the middle of Comanche territory hell Comanche texas is a hop skip and a jump away cool factoid about Comanche texas that town was where the last American outlaw was hung and the tree still stands in front of the court house
