That's the reason I moved from Germany 🇩🇪 to Hong Kong 🇭🇰 33 years ago. I can travel everywhere from Hong Kong easily, live a local life in the country side of Hong Kong and enjoy my life here peacefully! 🕊️ ✌️😉

So glad you got to see the park. I was so worried that the park won't reopen before you leave. One thing I really admire about you guys is you all stayed so positive throughout the whole thing, even though things didn't go according to plan. The parents didn't get annoyed, and the kids didn't throw any tantrums. I've watched all of your HK videos, and your kids are so well behaved and well mannered, always cool to go with the flow, never complain (or maybe those moments aren't included in the videos?😅). You're raising them well, and I'm sure they will grow up to be well-adjusted adults 👍 @22:30 such a sweet moment when your kids waved to the child on the bridge who just shot them with the water cannon 😂

I came across your channel last week because I was missing HK. You and your family are such a delight and I always find myself smiling watching your videos. Shame about the Typhoon but pleased you got to go back to the park, loved that place so much as a kid. Can't wait for the next one!

So glad to see another HK vlog! Sorry for the typhoon! We watched your video like watching a suspense-will the typhoon go away? Will they get to go to the park?? LOL! I am so glad Cedar and Granite got to ride and that they wanted to do it again! Hope Kelly got to ride too! Thanks for staying positive despite the big disappointment ( I would)! so I'm half way through the video and as I'm commenting you found the water park section 😂 but Ocean Park itself is a competent competitor of Disneyland HK, founded as a Ocean conservatory focused theme park, aimed at educating the local population about the ocean and all its wonders, hence the aquarium and ocean theatre. They pivoted into a SeaWorld/Six Flags mix park, adding the highlands back around the 90s. The water world part is a recent addition, and usually operates as a separate entity needing its own tickets. Hope you guys had fun anyways and visit again when the kids are old enough for more rides ☺️ (P. s. Ocean Park hosts an annual Halloween themed special events with extra haunted bits scattered throughout the park, definitely could be something to potentially time a trip for)

Water World with all the water slides etc is indeed under the Ocean Park umbrella name however it has a completely different entrance and you need to buy a separate entry ticket for it from the Ocean Park complex that you guys were at. Essentially, Water World is (for want of a better expression) "next door". It's kinda like Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Sea. Two completely different parks but within the same area.

High quality video 10-10. I really appreciate you all 💕. Thank you for bringing us on your adventures. Glad you all safe sending positive vibes, blessings and love. I didn't notice any problem with sound there's really no perfect way to avoid that in typhoon season it's windy.

Growing up in Hong Kong, WaterWorld was my favourrite. Ocean Park being the second. I have a collection of Ocean Park whale and penguin stuffies on my bed still. I miss Ocean Park

I used to love ocean park as a kid, I’ve moved now to the uk but I still miss Hong Kong so much

You are such a great dad!

If you do go back, you must take the gondolas instead of the ocean express. It will give you a breathtaking view of the Southside of Hong Kong island! And it was the original way to travel between the entrance and “the summit”. There are also a few more aquarium up there near the rides and one was the old grand aquarium turned sharks encounters and they themed it to the Tai O fishing village(also a must see in Hong Kong imo!) and is quite awesome!

That was so sweet of you to take time to reply. I am intrigued Kelly, have you always been vegetarian? My granddaughter is vegetarian and just came home to Vancouver from working and learning in Bali, Thailand, Vietnam and Australia! Of all places she found Australia very hard to maintain as she said it seemed meat on the bbq everywhere and any meal !!! 😊 .

It’s a bummer that you guys didn’t get to experience the water slides part of the park. It’s relatively new and would have been so much fun for the kids. Hope you and your family will get to visit again soon!

Ocean park is an amusement park which you can see different animals and sea animals, many exciting amusement rides. I think you missed to visit Panda Pavilion and Aquarium which is amazing. The water park is on the other side. And you need to buy another tickets. I think the hotel package is either choose ocean park or water park. But I like ocean park more than water park. Because the water park is very small.
