As a local HKer, I never considered having all three meals from Seven-Eleven, but I do enjoy grabbing some late-night dim sum from my nearby store after work or a night out. It's a comforting feeling and adds to the sense of security in the city. Btw, I really enjoyed your video with your lovely family! Keep up the good work :)

as a wanderer here in the USA I have had many a 7-11 red hot beef n bean burrito back in the day (also circle K burgers)

Your kids are so culturally open minded and willing to accept anything that arent "normal". This is very good for them when they grow up and look back at the time whehter they live in Indonesia or the travelling to different part of the world, they would appreciate more of the differences in every country. Granite will no doubt be a fine young gentleman when he is older and Cedar is going to be an exceptional young lady.

As a Hong Konger, I'm surprised by the variety of food choices in that 7-11, and the way that you placed them on the table even made it like a small picnic. Sometimes, when we have lived in a place for so long, we just ignore some wonderful small things around us. Thanks for the video and welcome to Hong Kong! *The meat inside the Xiaolongbao was pork instead of chicken, and the hot breakfast in the pot was actually instant noodles, not ramen.

I was born in HK and I still proudly call myself a true 'Hong Konger', watching ur video really makes me miss HK. The last time I was back was 2015 for work and the moment I my flight landed, I would go to the street food and a 7 11 for heated up Vita malt milk drink. It really hits the spot😂

Granite's the man! Eats anything presented to him and appreciates everything

You should take your wife to a vegetarian restaurant there is so many in Hong Kong that is really good. Also, the vegetarian style Buffay that is extremely affordable

Yes, I feel bad she didn't find much vegetarian options especially she only found two small pack of tofu for dinner, I was so happy for her when the rice revealed itself XD

Another fun adventure from you guys which made me miss 7-11 as they are not available in the UK. Again I appreciate the children’s willingness to try everything. No matter where destination leads you guys after living in Indonesia,The way Forest said "Susu" rightaway when he refers to milk already make him a certified Indonesian forever for sure

And welcome to Hong Kong😊 There still a lot hidden gems in Hong Kong to be found in Kowloon & New Territories area, the price is lower and the quality sometimes is even higher than in the HK Island & Central District...For example inside 葵涌廣場(Kwai Chung Plaza) there have a lot amazing food and drinks, the price is also pretty decent and down to earth...like 3/4 or half the price compare to Downtown Hong Kong Island, but it's more local, some of the shop don't have english menu, which is a problem, but still, a lot of places can be walk around and just enjoy the chill... Or maybe leave it for the next time, you have a lovely family, Good luck to your travelling! Stay safe😊

I stayed in that hotel that you start the video across the street from and went to that 7/11 every day of my 2 week trip there! Such an amazing place, and I can't wait to return. The way of life and culture there was so refreshing to me and it changed my outlook on life for sure. So happy for you that you got to experience HK, and you're such an awesome set of parents for giving your kids that experience too!

Wow! It's quite interesting to try 7-11 food. Some items are quite yummy, like some noodles and savoury snacks.😋 However, some microwaved food is a bit dry. Anyway, at least you can save some money to visit more scenic spots or try the rides. Enjoy your time in HK! Happy New Year! 🎉🎉

This 7-Eleven has been around since I moved to Jordan in the 1980s. Probably it is the biggest and oldest 7-11 in HK. Good to see you visiting HK and taking videos near my home
