    the greatest success that i've ever had was by following the Micaden Survive System (just google it) without a doubt the most useful preppers i've followed.

    This is cool it's the same basic mechanism as a Mangonel, french catapult, I suspect you could scale this up and even use trees or samplings instead of the posts.

    That's a pretty sweet trap! I like it. Seems like it would be pretty quick and humane. I haven't seen that design before. Thanks for posting that!

    Well, the death wouldn't be that quick actually. It would probably hit a non-vital part of the body and cause the animal to bleed to death. It's no gun.

    People we are fortunate over here that we can argue about how to humanely kill an animal. If we were to run out of food the word humane would be out the window...just ask Venezuela.

    However clever man made traps are Nothing compares to a Snare so simple but so effective. The Nothern Indian Tribes in Canada used it to catch fish,birds, ducks, deer, beaver, and all different types of small game and fur bearing animals. Still today in many instances it is better than a steel trap because of its lighter and not affected by snowfall and freeze, thaw conditions as a trap. It is so hard to believe how effective piece of cord or wire can be.

    Ever try the same thing with natural cordage that may make the engine stronger? Could be used on a slightly larger scale to target rabbits and medium sized critters.

    when i researched this trap a lot of the stuff was written in foreign writing and each time it was translated it came out as secret deadly trap of Africa ,hence my title

  • @richardpeterson3753
    @richardpeterson37537 жыл бұрын

    yeah things get murky on the research.alot of african bushcraft is kinda closely guarded.one thing id like to see a video on is the veitnamese bear trap.we hear about it if we are lucky but never see how its imployed.

    To avoid impaling hippos feet, this trap should not be set in Brixton or Stoke Newington.
